Setasa Filtracion is a water filtration products distribution company based in Spain.

With more than 50 years of experience in the water sector, they have been offering the most effective filtration options and continue to innovate products that can make the difference.

From filters and replacement parts for domestic use to commercial and industrial systems for business, customers here can find it all.

In this case study, we will examine how Setasa Filtracion drive more sales with Webkul’s Subscription Products and PrestaShop Development Services.

Water Purifier Market – Spain

The Spain water purifier market is projected to exceed USD 2.07 Billion by 2033. The revenue is expected to show an annual growth rate (CAGR 2023-2033) of 7.76%.

Growing concerns of deteriorating water quality, increasing consumer awareness of water quality and health concerns, high mineral level, etc are some of major factors driving the growth.

The market is also seeing innovation in water purification technologies, with reverse osmosis (RO) being a popular and effective method.

Eaton Corporation, Veolia, Dow Water & Process Solutions, EvoQua Water Technologies, Mann-Hummel are some of the key players in the market.

PrestaShop Subscription Products

PrestaShop Subscription Products is a comprehensive solution that allows store owners to sell subscriptions for products & services and get recurring payments on a regular interval.

The module allows admin to create subscription-based products and set billing cycle for days, weeks, months, or years.

Customers can subscribe to the product or service and are charged at the predefined intervals.

Since Setasa Filtracion deals in water purfiers that need servicing from time to time. Also, they sell filters that needs to be replaced at specified intervals.

Instead of buying service or filters each time by following the lengthy checkout process, they wanted to offer subscription options to their customers.

For this, they purchased our Subscription Products module.

The module allows customers to subscribe to the products and get them delivered at selected frequency i.e monthly, yearly, etc.

Customers can pause, resume, cancel, or update subscription as per need right from their accounts.

Custom Requirements of Client

Setasa Filtracion had two custom requirements for which they contacted us.

  1. Enable recurring payments for subscription products using Redsys Payment Gateway by integrating tokenization for automated transactions.
  2. Integrate Redsys recurring payments into the Subscription Products module.

Our team understood the client’s requirements and successfully did the customizations.

Conclusion

Implementing subscriptions helped Setasa Filtracion grow their business by generating a fixed amount of recurring revenue.

Rather than selling products individually, they can now sell products by subscription and get stable recurring payments.
