User Guide For Odoo POS Cash Drawer Alert

Updated 7 April 2022

Cash management belongs to the day-to-day control of managing cash inflows and outflows.

When it comes to a financial establishment, cash management becomes very crucial in the business.

Similarly, while working in POS, cash management is required a lot as the cashier performs the activities related to cash. So, there should be a tool for controlling or managing it in a productive way.

Therefore, we have come up with the ‘Odoo POS Cash Drawer Alert’ module. That facilitates the POS user to set a threshold limit on the maximum amount of cash that the POS Cash Drawer should contain. Moreover, the module also provides an alert feature that cautions the POS user when the threshold limit is reached.

This will work as a reminder if a user needs to build his contingency reserves for possible events on a regular basis.
