Seller End Workflow
After the installation of the module, a new tab “BLOG” gets available for the sellers. From this tab, the sellers can add and manage blogs.
For creating a blog, it is mandatory for the seller to create a category first.
A seller can create a new category by specifying the category title, and friendly URL, and selecting the user group permission.
After adding a category, a seller can view it under category list. A seller can enable, disable, edit, or delete the category.
Kindly note the seller cannot delete and disable all the categories. One category has to be set as the default category. The default category gets associated with all those posts whose category has been disabled or deleted from the “manage category” list.
Add New Blog
A seller can add a new blog by selecting the category title and specifying the blog title and description. Also, the seller can add tags for the blog and associate products & other blog posts to the blog.
After adding a blog, a seller can view it under ALL BLOG. The seller can preview, edit, and delete the blog.
The seller can add the tags from the “manage tags” and assign the tag to different blog posts.
Once added, the seller can view it under ALL TAGS. Also, the seller can edit or delete the tag.
Front End View
When a customer visits the store, he can view a separate category “Seller Blog” in the category menu. On clicking, all the blogs added by the sellers will display on the page.
Also, the customers can view blogs of a particular seller from the seller’s shop page. A “View Blog” gets available on the seller’s shop page. When a customer clicks on this button, a list of blogs added by the seller gets displayed.
In grid view, it is necessary to upload the default image to maintain the view of posts at the front-end.
If a customer clicks on any tag at the front-end, then the customer can view only the posts which have been added to the selected tag.
Now, when a customer clicks on any post, the customer can read the whole post and can also comment on the post. The availability of the comment section on the blog will totally depend on the admin and seller configuration for the comment block.
The Seller can view a list of comments provided by the customers under Manage Comments.
