Prestashop Bulk Product Edit

PrestaShop Bulk Product Edit extension allows mass editing of products. Bulk edit product details including title, description, price, quantity, and many more.

Change product categories, combinations, shipping carriers, and suppliers of multiple for the selected products with ease.

Speed up catalog management and save time on manual product editing by applying a mass action.

• Search the products you want to bulk edit.
• Bulk edit product names, reference, UPC/EAN-13 barcode, and descriptions.
• Edit product prices (increase or decrease it by specific amount or percentage).
• Add or remove the combinations of selected products.
• Change the quantity of searched products.
• Edit categories of selected products.
• Update brands & suppliers of searched products.
• Add or remove features of the products.
• Edit shipping carriers of selected products.
• Update information of multiple products at once from catalog.
• Add attachment files to multiple products at once.
• Choose product visibility, availability of order, and hide price of the selected products.

• Firstly, go to the module manager in the back office and click on ‘upload a module’.
• After that, drag and drop the module file or select the file from the system.
• In this way, the module installation will be successful.

After the successful installation of the module, a new tab ‘Bulk Edit Products’ gets added in the back office.

Under this tab, the admin can search and edit the products in bulk.

Admin can search the products in two ways- Bulk Search and Single product search.

Bulk search

Suppose the admin searches the products using initial letters of product name.

In Single Product search admin can search the particular product from search box as mentioned in the below image.

After clicking the ‘Start Edit’ button, the admin can update the following product information:

• Basic Setting
• Pricing
• Combinations
• Quantity
• Category
• Brand & Suppliers
• Features
• Shipping
• Attachments
• Options
• Last Update

Basic Setting

Products title can be changed by following options:

Pricing

Combinations

Under this tab, the admin can add/remove/update the combinations of the searched products.

Note– To add the combinations, admin need to first create attributes with its value from “Catalog–>Attributes & Features”.

Quantity

Admin can edit the quantity of the searched product from the following as mentioned in the below image.

Category

Admin can add/remove the category for the searched products. Also, the admin can add new categories where he wants to show the searched products.

After selecting the category, the admin needs to choose default category.

Default category selected by admin will be applied to the searched products.

Brand & Suppliers

Features

Admin can add and remove the features of the searched products.

Shipping

Admin can update the shipping details and can add /remove the available carriers for the searched products.

Attachments

Admin can assign the attachments files to the searched products.

Note– Admin need to create the files first from “Catalog–>Files”.

Options

Admin can change the visibility of the products, can make products available for order and can hide the price of the products.

Last Update

Admin can see their last update that has been done in the searched products.

Admin can also edit multiple products at a time from Catalog. Go to Catalog > Products.

After the successful installation of the module, a new option ‘Bulk edit’ gets available under Bulk actions.

Select the products from the list and click on on ‘Bulk edit’ under Bulk actions.

On clicking the option, the admin gets redirected to ‘Bulk product update’ page where he can view data in the columns and update them.

The admin can select the columns he wants to show on the page by clicking on the columns button.
