We all know, by default Odoo lets the customers enter only one billing address on the website. There is no provision to save multiple addresses for billing. They can add a different shipping address but only at the time of check out. But what if they need the order to be invoiced to a different address? They would have to update the current billing address first. And what if the customer enters the address incorrectly? He would have to go through the entire process again. Kind of frustrating and time-consuming. Isn’t it?
Our Odoo Website Customer Address Book Module lets your customers maintain their own handy Address Book in the account. They can add as many billing and shipping addresses to the account as they want of the outlets, shops, storage etc and save them simultaneously. So, next time they can select the one they want with just one click and add them to their order.

After purchasing this app from our Webkul store, you will get the link for downloading the zip file. Download it and extract on your system. You will see the ‘website_address_book’ folder. Just copy this app folder inside your Odoo addons path.
Once done, follow these steps:
1.) Go to settings menu and click on Activate the Developer Mode.
2.) Now go to apps menu and Click on ‘Update Modules List’.
3.) Remove the app’s filter and search for the website_address_book key.
4.) Now you will be able to see the module then simply install it.
Once installed, you will be able to handle different functionalities as mentioned in module’s workflow.
Let’s quickly go over the workflow of the module:
1.) From the customer’s account on default Odoo we can see that only one billing address can be stored at a time. Now, if you try to update the address, it erases the current address.
2.) After installing the module, login to the website account. A new tab ‘Manage Address Book’ shows in the customer’s account. Click on it.
3.) You can add multiple billing and shipping addresses here. Click on ‘Add an address’.
4.) Enter the address details on the form that opens up and click on Save.
5.) You will be able to see the newly added address(s) along with the previously saved addresses.
6.) Now, you will be able to select the address of your choice for billing/shipping at the time of checkout.
