    User Guide Magento 2 Multi Shipping Method with Price Range and Zip Range

    Using the Magento 2 Multi Shipping Method with Price Range and Zip Range extension, the admin of the Magento 2 store will now be able to create multiple shipping methods.

    The admin can create multiple shipping methods with shipping rates based on country, specific state, weight range, zip codes, alphanumeric zip code, product price range, and shipping method name.

    At the storefront, the customers can find the respective applicable shipping method that can then be selected to proceed with placing the order.

    Features

    • Allow admin to create multi-shipping methods.
    • Allow admin to upload CSV file for MageTableRate shipping method.
    • Customers can buy products by using the multi-shipping method.
    • The admin can use weight range, zip code range, price range(product), and alphanumeric zip code to create a shipping method as required.
    • The customers will see the respective applicable shipping method at the checkout time and can select the same to place their orders.
    • The admin can show the shipping method based on – Zip Code, Weight, and Cart Value.
    • This module is now compatible with GraphQL.

    Installation

    #Download Module

    Firstly, you need to log in to Webkul Store, go to My Account>My Purchased Products section, verify and then download and extract the contents of this zip folder on the system.

    Once the module zip is extracted, follow path src>app and then copy the app folder into the Magento 2 root directory on the server as shown below:

    #3 Run Commands

    You need to run the following commands:

    • php bin/magento setup:upgrade
    • php bin/magento setup:di:compile
    • php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy
    • php bin/magento indexer:reindex
    • php bin/magento cache:flush

    Language Translation

    For translating the module language, navigate through src/app/code/Webkul/MageTableRate/i18n and edit the en_US.csv file. Thereafter, rename the CSV as “en_SA.csv” and translate all right side content after the comma in the Arabic language. After editing the CSV, save it.

    Now, upload it to the path src/app/code/Webkul/MageTableRate/i18n where the installation of Magento 2 is on the server. The module gets translates into the Arabic Language. It supports both RTL and LTR languages.

    The user can edit the CSV like the image below.

    Initial Configuration

    After the successful installation of the extension, the admin will configure the extension. To do so, navigate through Stores->Configuration->Sales->Delivery Methods->Webkul Mage Table Rate Shipping Method.

    Here, the admin will –

    • Enable the extension by choosing the appropriate option.
    • Set the Title of the shipping method that is visible to the customers at the checkout time.
    • Choose to show the shipping method based on – Zip Code, Weight, and Cart Value.
    • Choose ship to applicable countries or all allowed countries as required.
    • Choose to display an error message if the shipping method is applicable else select the option as disabled.

    Lastly, save the configuration settings by tapping the Save Config button.

    Adding & Manage Shipping Methods

    Navigate through Mage Table Rate -> Webkul Table Rate Shipping.

    Here, the admin will find all of the created shipping methods and can create and manage the created shipping methods as required.

    To add a new shipping method, tap the Add Shipping Button on the top right-hand corner. This brings up the section shown below.

    Here, to add a shipping method you have to download the sample CSV file and add the data within the same and upload it again to save the shipping method.

    The admin within the CSV file will add the –

    • Country Code
    • Region ID
    • Zip Code from and to Values
    • Shipping price
    • Weight from and to values
    • Product price from and to values
    • Shipping method name
    • Set whether to accept numeric zip codes or not
    • Enable the Alphanumeric zip codes if the numeric zip code is set to No

    Lastly, Save the CSV file and now upload the CSV file.

    After uploading the CSV file tap the Save Shipping button on the top right-hand corner. The shipping method will be saved as per the requirement.

    If the admin wants to make any changes to the created shipping method for that particular one tap the Edit link, and that brings up the below shown section.

    Customers – Choose the Applicable Shipping Method

    At the storefront, the customers while making checkout customers see the applicable shipping method. The customers can select the shipping method as required and proceed further to place the order.

    On the review & payments section as well the customer can see the selected shipping method with the title and shipping cost.

    After placing the order, the customer can see the selected shipping method under his order history for the respective order.
