INTRODUCTION

Create custom Headers and footers with Odoo Report Per Shop!

If you are operating multiple shops in Odoo, you must have encountered a situation when you wished to be able to print a custom report per shop. But unfortunately, Odoo does not provide any such option where you can print reports with custom shop headers and footers.

For this, you need to put a custom header/footer in the RML, which is time-consuming and painful.

Hence to make the process effortless, we created Odoo Report Per Shop. This module permits you to make and print custom reports per shop. In simple terms, the module helps you print various invoices for each shop having a different logo, header, and footer.

FEATURES

• The Odoo Report Per Shop module allows you to create custom headers, footers, and logos for reports in Odoo.
• It permits you to generate customer invoices in a customized format.
• You can also create a delivery slip and quotation with a customized header/footer and logo.
• You can modify the custom headers, footers, and logos accordingly from the Odoo backend.

INSTALLATION

1. Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.
2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- ‘wk_report_per_shop.’
3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
4. Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
5. Then, open the Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List.’
6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘wk_report_per_shop.’
7. You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

WORKFLOW

Let’s move to the configuration of Odoo Report Per Shop.

CONFIGURATION

1. After installing, go to ‘Sales> Configuration> Custom Header/Footer> Create.’

2. On the new page, enter the details, such as name, code, and icon. And in the ‘General Information’ tab, enter the asked details. Tick the box next to ‘Custom Footer’ to generate a custom report footer. Once done, click the ‘Save’ icon.

3. On clicking the ‘Preview Header/Footer,’ you can view the header footer preview on the downloaded page.

4. Create a shop by going to ‘Sales> Configuration> Shops> Create.’

5. On the page, enter the shop name and choose the ‘Custom Header/Footer.’ Once done, click the ‘Save’ icon.

PLACING ORDER TO VIEW CUSTOM HEADER/FOOTER

6. Go to ‘Sales> Quotation> Create’ and fill in the details, choose ‘Shop,’ select a product and click the ‘Save’ icon. Once done, click the ‘Confirm’ button to verify the order.

7. Click the ‘Print’ button to print/download the order/quotation receipt with a custom header/footer.

8. After confirming, click the ‘Delivery’ option to validate the delivery.

9. On the next page, click the ‘Validate’ button and follow the process to validate the delivery. Once done, click the ‘Print’ button.

10. The printed/downloaded ‘Delivery Slip’ will look like the image below.

11. After validating the delivery, go back to the ‘Sales Order,’ click the ‘Create Invoice’ button and follow the process to generate an invoice.

12. On the invoice page, ‘Confirm’ the order to view the printable/downloadable invoice with a custom header/footer next to the invoice.
