Odoo Marketplace Seller Locator

Odoo Marketplace Seller Locator helps customers discover marketplace sellers by their name, location, and rating. Sellers are displayed on an interactive map with clear location markers.

Customers can select a seller to view their details, contact information, and location. They can also open the seller’s location directly in Google Maps for navigation.

The Odoo Marketplace Seller Locator provides website-level map settings, flexible seller profiles, multiple map views, and faster seller browsing through lazy loading and pagination.

1. Search Sellers by Name or Location: Customers can quickly find sellers using their name or location.
2. Filter Sellers by Rating: Customers can filter sellers based on their starting rating.
3. Interactive Seller Map: Sellers are displayed on a map with location markers for easy discovery.
4. Detailed Seller Information: Customers can view seller contact details and access their seller profile.
5. Google Maps Navigation: Customers can open a seller’s location directly in Google Maps.
6. Flexible Map Configuration: Administrators can configure the map center, type, zoom level, and search radius.
7. Multiple Map Views: The locator supports Roadmap, Satellite, Hybrid, and Terrain views.
8. Lazy Loading and Pagination: Sellers are loaded efficiently to provide a smoother browsing experience.
9. Website-Level Configuration: Administrators can configure the seller locator separately for the selected website.

1. Once you have purchased the module from our Webkul store, you will receive a link to download the zip file of the module.
2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- ‘marketplace_seller_locator’.
3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
4. Now, open the Odoo and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode. You can activate the developer mode by typing ‘debug’ after ‘web?’ in the URL as well.
5. Now, open the Apps menu and click on the ‘Update Modules List’.
6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘marketplace_seller_locator’.
7. You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on ‘Install’ to install it

1. Configure Seller Locator Map Settings

After installing the Odoo Marketplace Seller Locator module, go to Settings → Marketplace → Website.

Select the required website and scroll down to Map Settings. Enable Show Sellers Locator to display the Seller Locator on the website.

The map settings allow the administrator to configure the map center, map type, zoom, search radius, and default-center behavior.

2. Set a Manual Map Center

If you want to display the Seller Locator around a specific location, select Manual under Map Center.

Enter the required location in the Address field. The entered address is used to define the center of the map.

The manual configuration can also be used to define the map type and search radius.

3. Select the Map Type

Open the Map Type field and select the required map representation.

The Seller Locator supports Roadmap, Satellite, Hybrid, and Terrain views. You can also configure the Map Zoom, Search Radius, and Show Default Center options.

4. Open My Profile

Log in using the seller credentials to access the Seller Dashboard.

From the dashboard, go to Sellers → My Profile to open the seller profile.

5. Configure Seller Location

In the seller profile, open the Partner Assignation tab.

Under Seller Co-ordinates, configure the seller’s location using the available location options. The configured geolocation is used to place the seller correctly on the Seller Locator map.

6. Open the Sellers Section

From the Seller Dashboard, open the Sellers section.

The seller management area displays the available marketplace sellers and their current information.

7. Select the Required Seller

From the Sellers section, select the seller whose profile or location needs to be managed.

The seller listing provides access to individual seller profiles for further configuration.

8. Manage Seller Approval and Coordinates

In the Partner Assignation tab, you can set the Seller Address Coordinates for the seller.

If the selected seller is awaiting approval, click Approve. A confirmation window appears. Click Confirm to approve the seller.

9. Open the Seller Locator

On the website, click Locate a Seller from the footer to access the Seller Locator. The Seller Locator displays available sellers in a list along with their locations on the interactive map.

Select a seller from the list or map to view the seller’s details, including the available Call, Email, and Open in Maps options.

10. Search for a Seller

Enter the required seller name or location in the search field.

The matching seller is displayed in the seller list and its location is shown on the map.

The Odoo Marketplace Seller Locator supports seller search by name or location.

11. Filter Sellers by Rating

Use the rating filter to narrow the seller results.

Select the required starting rating from the rating dropdown. The seller list is updated according to the selected rating.

The rating filter helps customers focus on sellers that meet their selected rating level.

12. Change the Map View

Use the map controls to change the map representation while browsing seller locations.

The available views are Roadmap, Satellite, Hybrid, and Terrain.

Customers can switch between the available map views while exploring seller locations.
