$.browser Depricated in JQuery Library 1.9.0

You can’t use $.browser directly with Jquery library 1.9.0 and greater versions. Like all flags not working with jquery library 1.9.0

$.browser.msie
$.browser.webkit
$.browser.safari
$.browser.opera
$.browser.msie
$.browser.mozilla

You need to use migrate library with jquery 1.9 like this

<script src="http://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.9.0.js"></script>
<script src="http://code.jquery.com/jquery-migrate-1.1.1.js"></script>
