WooCommerce Marketplace Single Seller Checkout

WooCommerce Marketplace Single Seller Checkout module allows the customers to checkout with products from a single seller.

Further, if the customer tries to add the product of different seller then the system shows a notification.

With this, the checkout management will be easier from the admin end. Also, most times the customers like to add products from a particular seller, in that case, the module will fascinate them a lot.

This module can be easily used in all kinds of e-commerce industries that demands checking out with single seller products.

Please Note:

WooCommerce Marketplace Single Seller Checkout module is an add-on of WordPress WooCommerce Multi Vendor Marketplace Plugin. To use this plugin you must have installed the WordPress WooCommerce Multi Vendor Marketplace Plugin first.

• Allow admin to enable/disable single seller checkout option.
• Allow adding only a single seller’s product to the cart.

• During checkout, only single seller checkout will be validated.

The user will get a zip file that he has to upload in the “Add New” menu option in the WordPress admin panel.

For this login to WordPress Admin Panel and Under the Dashboard hover your mouse over the “Plugins” menu option which brings out a Sub-Menu and then select the “Add New” option.

After this, you will see an option on the top of your page that is “Upload Plugin”, click the option to upload the zip file.

Once you have clicked on the “Upload Plugin” option, below that you will see a button “Choose File” click on the button to browse for the zip file as per the snapshot below.

After browsing the file, click the “Install Now” button to install the plugin as per the snapshot.

Now when the plugin is installed correctly, you will see the success message and an option to activate the plugin. Click on “Activate Plugin” to activate the installed plugin.

After the successful installation of the WooCommerce Marketplace Single Seller Checkout module, the admin will be able to manage the module permissions.

For this, the admin will navigate to Marketplace > Settings > Configuration.

Further, the admin will enable the Single Seller Checkout feature by ticking the checkbox as shown in the image below:

Once the module is enabled by the admin, the customer will be able to use this feature. As, with this feature, the customers can checkout with the single seller products.

That means, if the customer will add products from different sellers then checkout will not happen.

Let’s understand this with an example. Suppose I am adding the two products to the cart with the same seller:

• Polo T-shirt by Seller Doe

• Hoodie With Pocket by Seller Doe

As we have seen, both the two products we have added, are by the same seller that is Doe. Also, the products have been added to the cart without any error message. The cart is visible in the image below:

Whereas, let’s see what if any product of a different seller gets into the shopping cart.

After adding two products from the same seller, when the third product is added with a different seller then a message popped up that says “At a time you can add only a single seller’s product to the cart.”

This shows that only products from a single seller can be added at a time. Further, the process is shown for a complete checkout with single-seller products.

Once all the products of the same sellers are added to the cart, the customer can proceed with the checkout. The customer will then add billing and payment details. And, the customer will click on the Place order button.

Finally, the customer can see the order details including the order ID, order date, email, Order total, and payment method.
