Introduction: Advance Media Manager Magento 2
Advance Media Manager Magento 2 (Adobe Commerce) is helpful in managing the images available in your content. With Advance Media Manager, users can edit the images in many ways. These images are useful while adding to the website pages. Images present in your gallery are editable and can be modified as per your requirements

Install Extension from Webkul Store
1. Download Module
The first step is to log in to Webkul Store. Go to My Account>My Purchased Products section, and verify. Now download and extract the contents of this zip folder on the system.
2. Upload Folder
Extract the module zip go to src>app. After this copy the app folder into the Magento 2 root directory on the server as shown below:
3. Run Commands
Once the module of folder is uploaded and then you can run the following commands in the Magento 2 root directory:
composer require intervention/image
php bin/magento setup:upgrade
php bin/magento setup:di:compile
php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy
php bin/magento indexer:reindex
php bin/magento cache:flush
Install Extension from Magento Marketplace
If you have purchased an extension from the Magento Marketplace and go through the process or visit this link.
1. Get Access Keys
You need to get access keys. Navigate to My Profile in Magento Marketplace. Choose Access Keys in the My Products section.
Go to Magento 2 and after this, here you copy the Access Keys, Public Key and Private Key. These access keys will be needed in the next steps for authentication.
And if access keys are not created before then you can click on “Create A New Access Key” to create a new one. After this Enter any name and click OK.
2. Update composer.json File
To know the component name and version number, go to your Magento Marketplace account section, My Profile>My Purchases, and find this extension to view the details. Please note: Below is an example image, every extension will have its unique component name and version.
Next is, to navigate to your Magento project directory and update your composer.json file in the given format.
composer require <component-name>:<version>
To install version 5.0.0 of this extension you need to run the given command:
composer require webkul/module-advanced-media-manage-check:4.0.1
3. Enter Access Keys
Now you will need to enter the Access Keys that you obtained as explained in the first step #1 Get Access Keys. Wait for Composer to finish updating your project dependencies and make sure there aren’t any errors.
4. Run Command
Now run the given commands:
php bin/magento setup:upgrade
php bin/magento setup:di:compile
php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy
php bin/magento indexer:reindex
php bin/magento cache:flush
Multi-Lingual Configuration
For Multilingual support, please navigate through Store > Configuration->General > Locale Options and select your desired language from the locale option.
Module language translation of Advance Media Manager Magento 2
If you need to do the module translation, please navigate the path app/code/Webkul/AdvancedMediaManager/i18n and edit the file named en_US.csv as shown below screenshot.
Once you have opened the file for editing following this, replace the words after the comma(,) and then on the right with translated words.
After this, editing the CSV file, save it, and then upload it to the same path app/code/Webkul/Webkul_AdvancedMediaManagerr/i18n. The module will now get translated into your desired language. Results in, it supports LTR and RTL languages.

Advance Media Manager Magento 2: Enable and Disable the old media gallery
Step 1:- Go to Store> Advance > System. Here select Media Gallery. Set Enable Old Media Gallery to NO as per the given image below.
Step 2:- Go to Content> Media Gallery. Now you will see the manage gallery page as given below
Advance Media Manager Magento 2 functionalities:
To see the functionalities upload an image by clicking on upload image. An image will upload from your system. And once it is upload after this click on the three-dot icon of the image at the right bottom. You will see four actions:-
- View details: Details of images will appear like name, height, width, size
- Edit: Here you can change the title and description of the image
- Delete: To remove the image from the gallery
- Modify: To modify the image details like resize, filter, and watermark.
Now Click on Modify and you will see the given image below.

Rotate: Here you can rotate the images in an anti-clockwise direction, clockwise direction. You can see image rotation like this below image.
Flip: This is useful in flipping the image in the horizontal and vertical directions.
Filter: This function is useful in changing the visibility of an image. Users can change the contrast, brightness, opacity, sharpness, and blur of the image. When you fill all the fields then click submit button. After submission, the filtered image will appear as given below.
WaterMark: An image watermark is used to apply to images. You can fill in the URL of images, opacity, and coordinates where you want the watermark. Click on submit button.
Image Resize and crop: In this field, you can resize the image, crop it and set the height and width of an image. After doing these changes click on submit button. You can see the example image given below
To apply these changes in the image you will have to save the images. Until and unless you won’t save the image all the modifications will not get the update.
