Expected features of Odoo 18 of the Sale Module

1). Target vs achievements

In Odoo 18, the Sales module lets users set individual sales goals and generate performance reports monthly, quarterly, or yearly.

2). Sales Commission

Odoo 18 helps calculate salespersons’ commissions. These achievements and targets can be based on margin, amount sold, amount invoiced, sold quantity, and invoiced quantity. 

You can also combine different points and set new rules for specific products, categories, or recurring periods.

The new location selection widget allows users to choose and manage locations within your system easily.

You might see a new widget for selecting locations and a button to sign in in the checkout form. 

Other updates include a streamlined one-page checkout, the option to hide the /shop page, better SEO features for the /shop page design, and a new mega menu that shows categories.

3). Save as global

Website maintenance can be detailed work, and Odoo users need a “Save as Global” feature in the website editor. 

This would let users save content blocks and apply them to multiple pages automatically, saving time and ensuring consistency.
