Multi-Vendor SMS Notification for WooCommerce

• The sellers will receive notification texts if the admin approves the seller.
• The admin can disapprove a seller and the seller will receive disapproval notification texts.
• Sellers will receive SMS notifications when the admin will publish any product.
• Both the admin and seller will receive notifications when a seller registers at a store.
• Sellers, as well as the admin, will receive a notification when customers write product reviews.
• The admin and sellers will receive the ‘low stock’ SMS notification messages.
• Sellers will receive notification messages when the product goes ‘out of stock.
• Both the customers and sellers will receive notifications when customers place an order.

The user will get a zip file that needs to be uploaded in the “Add New” menu option in the WordPress admin panel.

For this login to WordPress Admin Panel and in the Dashboard hover your mouse over the “Plugins” menu option select the “Add New” option.

After this, the user will see an option on the top of the page that is “Upload Plugin”, click the option to upload the zip file.

On clicking the “Upload Plugin” option, the user will see a “Choose File” button. Click on the button to browse for the zip file as per the image below.

After browsing the file, click on the “Install Now” button to install the plugin as per the snapshot.

Once the user installs the plugin, a message “Plugin installed successfully” displays and an “Activate Plugin” is visible to activate the plugin.

The user needs to click on the “Activate Plugin” button to activate the plugin.

• The user can hit the link- www.twilio.com to sign up with the Twilio SMS provider.

On clicking the link, the user will be redirected to the Sign-Up page. The user will have to enter details such as Name, Email, Password etc.

Once the user submits the sign-up details and completes the sign-up process, the admin can check Twilio credentials under Console Dashboard as shown in the image below.

On receiving the credentials, the admin can complete the module configuration with Twilio SMS provider.

The admin can configure the settings for Multi-Vendor SMS Notification in the admin panel.

The admin needs to click on “Marketplace” and then needs to click on “Marketplace Twilio”.

On clicking the ‘Marketplace Twilio’ option, the admin can configure the various SMS feature for their sellers. 

• SID and Token– The admin is required to create a Twilio SID and token, which need to be entered here for the purpose of Twilio authorization.
• Phone number with country code- This phone number is provided by the Twilio end for sending a message. So here the admin needs to enter that phone number.
• Allow Seller Verification- Here the admin can allow or disallow getting OTP SMS verification on registration time for their seller.
• Set OTP number of length- The admin can set OTP number of length.

• Send SMS notification for these status- The admin can allow getting an SMS to the seller and customer on changes status whichever option is selected by the admin.
• Seller Approve/Disapprove- The admin can allow sending SMS to the seller when the seller’s account approves/disapproves.
• Seller product approval or update- Allow sending SMS to sellers when their product is approved or updated by the admin.
• User password reset- The sellers and customers will get an SMS by resetting their password.

• User profile update by admin- Allow sending SMS to user and seller when the admin updates their profile.
• Send SMS on placed order- Seller and customer will get an SMS when the customer placed an order.
• Product is out of stock- Allow sending an SMS when the seller’s product is out of stock.
• Product is low stock- Allow send an SMS when seller product is low stock.
• Product get a review- Allow sending SMS to seller when customers add a product review.
• Email invoice generation- Allow sending SMS to the admin and seller on email invoice generation.
• Admin pay seller commission- Allow send an SMS to seller when the admin pays their commission.
• Customer adds feedback on seller shop- Allow send an SMS to the seller to add feedback review on seller shop.

Custom Message

Now, the admin can add custom messages for their customers from the custom message section on the admin panel.

Here, the admin will enter the following details and send the message to the desired customer.

Country Code: Needs to choose the country code from the scroll-down options.

Phone Number: The customer’s phone number needs to add here.

Message: The custom message which needs to send to the customer.

Message Logs

Here, the admin can see a complete record of all message logs. This record shows the order of messages, so the admin can understand them better.

Resend Message

If a message status is marked as “failed,” the admin has the option to conveniently resend the message.

This can be achieved by selecting the “View” button within the corresponding section that displays the failed status, followed by clicking on “Resend”.

When a customer creates an account and registers with the site, the customer enters a phone number.

On this phone number, the customer will receive SMS notifications messages regarding the status of the orders or profile details.

On successfully registering, the customer will receive the SMS notification message as shown in the image below.

The sellers will receive an SMS notification message- “Order has been placed successfully” once the customer places an order as shown in the image below.

The customer and the sellers will receive notification messages as shown in the image below,  once the customer receives the order.

The admin can change the order status to “Completed” once the order reaches a customer.

When a customer and the sellers will receive a notification message as shown in the image below if a customer updates his profile.

The customers and the sellers will receive SMS notification messages if an update is made for any order as shown in the image below.

Similarly, for order events such as, ‘out of stock’, ‘low stock’, ‘order cancellation’, ‘order on hold’ etc, the customers, as well as the sellers, will receive the SMS notification texts.
