A better pricing strategy is very crucial to lead a business to grow and sustain.

While managing a restaurant you deal with the multiple tables and floors to serve the clients as good as possible.

Are you wondering to correctly work in a scenario where you as a restaurant owner, need to set different price lists for various floors/tables to retain valuable and new customers?

For this purpose, we created Odoo POS Restaurant Floor/Table Based Pricelist. With this module, you can set custom pricelists for every table and floor of your restaurant. 

Further, the POS will automatically show and manage all the prices according to the set price list for a particular table or floor.

INSTALLATION

1. Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.
2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- ‘pos_restaurant_floor_pricelist.’
3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
4. Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
5. Then, open the Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List.’
6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘pos_restaurant_floor_pricelist.’
7. You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

WORKFLOW

Now, let’s start the configuration of Odoo POS Restaurant Floor/Table Based Pricelist.

CONFIGURATION

1. Firstly, log in to the Odoo Backend and navigate to the Point Of Sale.

2. Then go to the ‘Configuration> Floor Plans’ menu.

NOTE: The Floor Plans option will be available in the debug mode, so first, you need to enable the developer mode.

3. On the next page, click the ‘Create’ button if you want to create a new floor for your restaurant. Moreover, you can also configure any existing floor pricelist from the list.

4. While creating, enter the name of the floor. You can set the ‘Price list’ to this particular floor. Further,  if you select the ‘Floor Price list’ here, that price list will be shown as the default price list of that specific floor in the POS session. 

5. Also, you can configure different prices for a table by selecting the table.

6. 6. After selecting the table, assign the ‘Price list’ to the table.

7. Next, move to ‘Configuration> Point of Sale> Bar(Restaurant settings).’ 

8. Locate pricing and select from the available price lists under ‘Default Pricelist.’

Advanced Pricing- Enabling this feature will allow you to show specific prices for different tables. Also, the POS user will only see the selected pricelist on the restaurant floor.

9. Moving on now, you can launch any POS session by clicking the ‘New Session’ button.

10. In the POS Restaurant session, you can see the ‘Floor Pricelist’ with the floor on the top right side.

11. On hovering over the price tag, you can view the set price list for that table. If that particular price is added under the ‘Advanced Pricelists.’ Otherwise, it will not show the price tag for that specific price list.
