Odoo Marketplace Pre-Order

Odoo Marketplace Pre-order allows you to secure your desired items which are currently unavailable simply by choosing the Pre-Order option.

With this module, Seller can optimize inventory management, identify popular items, and adjust production or stocking levels accordingly.

Pre-order functionality on Odoo Marketplace Pre-order unlocks valuable insights into customer interest, even for products currently in stock.

1. This module provides an opportunity to sellers to sell their out of stock product.
2. It offers various features like pre-order where sellers can configure all the details of the products which help them to manage and sell products.
3. It enhances the shopping experience of consumers by providing them with products which are not in stock.
4. Also, it provides an option for pre-order where consumers can pay a partial amount and can avail product when it is avaliable.
5. It makes management of inventory for the sellers very easy.
6. Open a new marketplace for sellers where they can create a hype for products which are not available and enhance their customer reach.

1. Once you have purchased the module from our Webkul store, you will receive a link to download the zip file of the module.
2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- ‘marketplace_preorder’.
3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
4. Now, open the Odoo and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode. You can activate the developer mode by typing ‘debug’ after ‘web?’ in the URL as well.
5. Now, open the Apps menu and click on the ‘Update Modules List’.
6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘marketplace_preorder’.
7. You will be able to see the module in the search results. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

1. After installation login as admin then open “Settings”> click on “Website Webkul Addons”>click on “configuration” of Website Pre-order.

2. A new window will open where Admin can configure all the details regarding pre-order like Pre-order Payment Type, Pre-order Minimum Quantity etc.

3. Admin has authority to edit Seller’s product and  Pre-order Setting. 
4.     Click on Sales>click on “Products”>click on “Pre-order”

5. Since there are two payment options available in this module, “Percentage payment and Complete Payment”.

6. In Percentage payment, the admin and seller can set the percentage amount to   be paid when the customer pre-orders the product.

7. After installation, Sellers can access the seller dashboard for creating a pre-order of a new product Click on “Sales Dashboard”>click on “Product”.

8. For Sellers to set a pre-order of a product  select the check box>”Available for Pre-order”.

9. A “Pre-order Tab “will be introduced  where pre-order settings can be configured like the “Pre-order Expiry Date” etc.

10. To override the default pre-order setting, Seller needs to check the “Override Default Pre-order Configuration “field .

11. After Setting Override Default Pre-order configuration, Seller can  set the “Pre-Order Payment Type”, “Pre-Order Maximum Quantity” etc.

12. If the product is set for pre-order by the seller, the message will be displayed  “Available for Pre-order” 

13. Like this, you will be able to provide seller’s products for pre-order to your customers.
