The Lightning App Builder is a point-and-click tool that makes it easy to create custom pages for Salesforce1 and Lightning Experience. With the Lightning App Builder, you can combine various components on a single page to give your users what they need all in one place.

- Custom record pages for your objects, tailored to the needs of your users.
- Custom Home pages containing the components and features that your users use most.
Configure Lightning Experience Record Pages
You can create a record page for Lightning Experience in two ways.
One way :- Edit a record page of any object in Lightning Experience.
When you select Edit Page for the first time, Salesforce makes a copy of the page. This copy is what you then edit in the Lightning App Builder. So you can add any component. For example add visualforce page in record page.
Second Way :- From the Setup menu on a record page, select Edit Page.Create a new page on the Lightning App Builder list page.So for that you need to follow some steps.
From Setup, Enter Lightning App Builder in the Quick Find box, then select it.
Click New.
Select Record Page.
Choose a page template, and then complete the steps in the new page creation wizard.
Enter Label and Select object.
In the Lightning App Builder, add, edit, or remove components to change the page’s layout. Reorder components by dragging them around the canvas.
Save your page.To make your customized record home page available to your Lightning Experience users, you must Activate it. You can activate the page from the Save dialog when you save it for the first time, or later using the Activation button.
