Odoo Prescription Attachment for Products: manage your pharmacy hassle-free!!!

With Odoo Prescription Attachment for Products,  you can run your medical store. But there are a few things to remember. 

Selling pharmaceutical supplies is an issue in the medical industry. There are so many restricted products for the general public. You can not sell these products without a prescription. Providing a prescription for certain medications before purchasing medication is crucial. 

With this module, you can take a prescription from the user before they make a transaction.

Furthermore, once the prescription gets uploaded on the odoo Website the Odoo admin can approve the request from the backend.

FEATURES

1. The Odoo app allows you to build Restricted Products.
2. When purchasing such items, the consumer must attach a prescription.
3. After the upload, you can approve restricted product orders from the odoo backend.
4. Furthermore, after evaluating the prescriptions, you can allow such requests.
5. In Odoo Backend, you may add document details.
6. You can display document details alongside products on the Odoo website.
7. Customers can view their approved and pending orders in one location.
8. To complete the order, the customer must pay after the approval of the quotation.
9. The Odoo backend allows you to separate approved and pending orders.
10. Manage Warnings When the prescription upload is missing.
11. A warning appears on the missing upload of the prescription.

INSTALLATION

1. Once you purchase the App from the Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.
2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- ‘restrict_product.’
3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
4. Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
5. Then, open the Apps menu and click ‘Update Modules List.’
6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘restrict_product.’
7. You will be able to see the module in the search results. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

WORKFLOW

1. After installation, Navigate through  ‘Settings’ >> Sales>> ‘Restricted Product Configuration’. Enable the ‘Show document Details.’

2. Under the product tab from inventory, open the desired product and enable the Restricted Products.

3. You can see that restricted products have a label to distinguish them from others. Add the product to the cart.

4. If you proceed with payment without prescription upload, then it will show a warning.

5. Now Select ‘Add Document’, upload the prescription,  and click ‘Upload file.’ 

6. After the file upload, click on ‘Pay Now.’

Backend View

7. Navigate through ‘sales’ >> ‘orders’ >> ‘restricted product.’ 

8. Now open the quotation and click on approve quotation after verifying the prescription.

9. You can also check the approved or restricted products from the My Account section.

10. Once approved, you can pay for the quotation and buy the product.
