CS-Cart Low Stock Notification : This splendid add-on provides an extended feature to avail the alert by triggering notification when the quantity of product is below the conception value. Moreover it help the users to manage their inventory of products efficiently by setting up a notification via mail and SMS when the stock is below stipulated level.

Download

When you download the Cs Cart Stock Notification you get one zip file, use it. After downloading you will also get the install.txt file. Read it carefully and follow it.

Firstly Click on “add-ons”, go to manage add-ons. To upload and install the zip file click on “+” as shown below in the snapshot.

Click on “local” to upload the zip file as shown below.

Configuration

Click on “manage” to configure the add-on as shown below in the snapshot.

Set the parameters accordingly

- Firstly Click on “mail” and “SMS” to notify alert based on it.
- Select admin and vendor for mail and SMS to allow notification for both the users.
- Click on “Add Vendor” to add vendors to the notification list.
- Finally Set custom email id and contact number if any to send email notification and text message regarding the low stock alert.

In “email templating” set the mail text of notification. Option of text mail id has been provided to check the view mail as shown below in the snapshot.

Set the SMS text as shown below.

Choose SMS Api that have been provided. For Clickatell set the parameters as shown below in the snapshot.

- - Set the username, Api Id and password.

Fill the parameters of Twilio as shown below in the snapshot.

- - Set the twilio number, Account SID and Auth Token. Feature of test contact number is provided.

To change the individual stock of any product, go to product page. Click on desired product as shown below in the snapshot. Go to add-ons and set the minimum inventory for the product below which alert will generate.
