A\u00a0KYC<\/strong>\u00a0document allows the marketplace store owner to obtain information about the identity and address of the\u00a0vendors. This will make sure that the\u00a0vendor’s identity is verifiable which helps in maintaining a trust factor.<\/p>\n

In the default Magento 2, there is no option by which you can extend the vendor\/seller registration page. Now, how can we extend vendor\/seller registration page?<\/p>\n

We can make use of Magento 2 Vendor Attribute Manager Marketplace<\/a> extension that helps the admin to create additional vendor attributes that are displayed on the vendor registration page.<\/p>\n

After the installation of this extension, the admin can easily create the vendor custom attributes. Vendors will fill in these attributes and can update these attributes at their vendor profile page. These attributes will be visible to the admin in the backend.<\/p>\n

Let’s see how the admin can create vendor custom attribute\u00a0<\/strong>for the KYC document<\/strong> so that the vendor can upload his document in a media image format. However, there are various inputs types provided from which the admin can choose from.<\/p>\n

Note:<\/strong> As Magento 2 Vendor Attribute Manager Marketplace add-on\u00a0<\/strong>is an add-on of the Marketplace<\/strong> module, so you must have first installed the Magento 2 Marketplace<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

After the successful installation of the Magento 2 Marketplace Vendor Attribute Manager<\/strong> extension, Admin can find two tabs \u2013 Vendor Attribute Manager<\/b> & Vendor Attribute Group Manager\u00a0<\/b>(create groups and then put the vendor attributes into the created groups) under Marketplace<\/strong> Management.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Clicking the Vendor Attribute<\/strong>\u00a0Manager<\/strong> tab will bring up a new page. Now click on the “Add Attribute<\/strong>” button to add a new custom attribute for the seller as shown below in the snapshot.<\/p>\n
