Membership cards are more than pieces of plastic \u2013 they’re the gift to customer loyalty. Odoo POS Membership Cards<\/a> show customers their value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They provide unique discounts, thereby attracting and building a loyal customer base.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It uses various membership options with secret membership code redemption that enhances your Odoo POS experience and customer relationships. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Customers can use the Secret Membership Code to receive their membership discount. The upgraded version of Odoo apps<\/a>, such as Odoo 17, also offers various membership types<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Odoo Point Of Sale Membership cards allow you to create multiple membership templates with associated discounts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Membership cards are created and then assigned to customers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Customers can use their membership cards to receive discounts on their orders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. You can redeem the discount for your customers by entering a secret membership code or scanning the barcode of the Membership card.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. A membership card in Odoo POS can be issued to only one customer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. You can assign more than one membership card to a customer if it is enabled in the settings.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    INSTALLATION<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    1. Once you purchase the App from the Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- \u2018pos_membership_cards.\u2019<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Then, open the Apps menu and click on \u2018Update Modules List.\u2019<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search \u2018pos_membership_cards.\u2019<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    7. You will be able to see the module in the search results. Click on \u2018Install\u2019 to install it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      WORKFLOW<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      1. Log in to your Odoo and then go to the Odoo POS.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
          \n
        1. Now, under the customer Membership tab click on \u2018Membership Template\u2019 to create a new membership template. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          Mention the name of the template with the assigned discount and the duration of the template in terms of the years<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          1. To create membership cards for a customer select the membership template name, and select the customer to whom you want to issue the card. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            You can also edit the issue date and expiry date manually which are calculated by the duration mentioned while creating the Membership Template.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Additionally, you can add the card code manually or can generate it automatically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              1. To override the existing discount, go to the Membership Discount create a new one and enable Override the existing discount.
                Now, select one of the radio buttons to Override all existing discounts or to Override existing discounts that are less than membership discounts.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                1. To \u2018Ignore Membership Discount If Discount Already Exists\u2019 enable the checkbox and select one of the radio buttons to ignore membership discounts for all order lines or only for those order lines where the discount exists.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                  1. Enable only one membership card per customer to avoid issuing multiple cards to a single customer.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                    1. Now, activate the Point Of Sale session and select the products to order. Now select the option Membership Card and add the secret membership code on the order validation page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                      1. The membership discount is added to the product, you can select the payment method to pay and proceed to confirm the order.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
