if problem persists we can also find the processes which are having higher cpu utilization<\/p>\n
# top (in terminal)<\/p>\n
then<\/p>\n
# kill -9 PID<\/p>\n
or we can also limit those processes using cpulimit<\/p>\n
#sudo apt-get install cpulimit<\/p>\n
#cpulimit -e name_of_process -l limit<\/p>\n
eg. cpulimit -e Firefox -l 55<\/p>\n
or<\/p>\n
# cpulimit -p PID -l limit<\/p>\n
eg. #cpulimit -p 2011 -l 55<\/p>\n
we can find the PID by ‘top’ command.<\/p>\n
if nothing is happening i.e complete freezing in ubuntu<\/p>\n
while holding ‘alt+sys’\u00a0 key type ‘REISUB’<\/p>\n
