Nowadays, online shopping becomes the choice of most people as they get their desired products in few steps. While ordering the products online everyone wants to know the delivery date of the product and the product is available for their zip code or not. Considering this in mind Webkul comes up with the module ‘Odoo Website Estimated Delivery’<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Odoo Website Estimated Delivery<\/strong> allows your website user to know the date of the delivery of their ordered products. It also facilitates the admin to exercise different information like defining the number of days in which the product will be delivered and defining the product availability with Zip codes. Admin can also set the message to be displayed for the available products as well as for the unavailable products respectively for any location. Also, select the display mode and compute delivery time accordingly to display delivery time. The Display mode could be selected either as Exact or in between a particular Range.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FEATURES<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
  1. The Odoo website estimated delivery module allows customers to check the estimated delivery time of the product at their location.<\/li>
  2. Customers can check the availability of the product according to the shipment available at their location.<\/li>
  3. The module allows you to change the back-end settings as per your wish.<\/li>
  4. You can easily define the available Zip codes for product delivery.<\/li>
  5. The website users can check the number of delivery days of the product to any Zip location.<\/li>
  6. The module helps you to set the delivery time of the product.<\/li>
  7. This delivery time will be shown to the customers on the website\u2019s frontend for product delivery.<\/li>
  8. Customers can easily enter the zipcode of their location to check the estimated time of the delivery of the product.<\/li>
  9. The module will tell you the number of days in which their product will be delivered.<\/li>
  10. The number of days can be defined to deliver a product at the customer\u2019s location.<\/li>
  11. It also helps to set the messages for the available and unavailable products.<\/li>
  12. The Default configuration can be overridden for a particular product and a new set of values can be defined for the product.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    INSTALLATION<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
    1. Once you purchase the App from the Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.<\/li>
    2. Extract the file from your system after the download finishes. As a result, you will be able to see a folder named- \u2018website_estimated_delivery\u2019<\/strong>.<\/li>
    3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path<\/strong>.<\/li>
    4. Now, open the Odoo Apps and then, click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.<\/li>
    5. Then, open the Apps menu and click on the \u2018Update Modules List\u2019<\/strong>.<\/li>
    6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and then, search \u2018website_estimated_delivery\u2019<\/strong>.<\/li>
    7. As a result, you will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on \u2018Install\u2019<\/strong> to install it.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      WORKFLOW<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      Odoo Backend Configuration<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
      1. Firstly, login to the ‘Odoo Instance’<\/strong> and go to the ‘Website’<\/strong> modules.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        1. Now, tick the check box next to ‘Website: Estimated Delivery’<\/strong> under the ‘Webkul Website Addons’<\/strong> tab. Now, click on the ‘Configuration’<\/strong> tab next to Website: Estimated Delivery.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
          \"Odoo<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
          1. The Estimate Delivery Tab <\/strong>will open. Enable the Show delivery time in product<\/strong> which helps to display the delivery time on the product page. To display the delivery time on the shopping cart page, Show delivery time in cart<\/strong> is enabled.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            Add Customizable messages to display when the products are available or unavailable on any Zipcode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Display Mode<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

            Select Display Mode<\/strong> to compute delivery time. If you are select Exact then it will show the exact delivery date but if you are selecting Range<\/strong> then it will show the delivery date in range like 5-7 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            1. You have to Create Delivery Day Range<\/strong>, If you select the display mode as Range<\/strong>. Delivery Day Range is dependent on the number of days you added in the range. Select Add Days Before<\/strong> or Add Days After <\/strong>for create delivery day range.<\/strong> The number of days defined is dependent on the create delivery day range.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

              Let us Suppose you defined the number of days<\/strong> as 2 days, then for Add Days Before<\/strong> the delivery range is 0-2 days, and for Add Days After <\/strong>the delivery range is 2-4 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              \"Create<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
              1. The Compute Delivery Time using<\/strong> could be defined either as Default Delivery Lead Time<\/strong> or as Advanced Estimated Delivery<\/strong>. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                If you select the Default Delivery Lead Time<\/strong> then the customer lead time filed in the product and days shown as per the data in that field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                If you select the Advanced Estimated Delivery<\/strong> the time will be according to the available within<\/strong> the field and also comma separated Zip codes.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                1. By clicking on Add a line<\/strong> under the Zipcodes and their Estimated Delivery<\/strong>. Add Comma Separated Zipcodes,<\/strong> Name<\/strong> and the days Available Within<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                  1. Now, go to the Products<\/strong> tab and select the product. Click on the Delivery<\/strong>, now tick the checkbox next to Override Default Configuration,<\/strong> and also define comma-separated pin codes with the availability time. These all are related to the Compute Delivery Time<\/strong>, select the desired option, and then click on the save button to save all the changes.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                    1. Now, go to the website shop page, select the product you want to buy. Add the zipcode to check the availability and click on the ‘Check’<\/strong> button.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                      1. When the desired product with desired zipcode is available then the customised message will appear with the availability days.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
