Introduction<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

ERPNext Website Loyalty<\/strong> adds a points program to your ERPNext Webshop. Customers earn loyalty points when they buy from your website. They can then spend those points as a discount in the cart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The store admin uses an earning rule to decide how many points an order gives. A redemption rule sets how much each point is worth. ERPNext saves every point a customer earns or spends in their loyalty transactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This guide shows you how to set up the program, how a customer redeems points in the cart, and how to track each customer’s balance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prerequisites for using ERPNext Website Loyalty<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

ERPNext Website Loyalty works in conjunction with the following module:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Webshop<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You must install the above-mentioned module to use the ERPNext Website Loyalty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Turn the loyalty program on or off from one settings page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Award loyalty points based on the amount a customer spends.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Set a minimum order amount, a priority and date limits for each earning rule.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Limit an earning rule to one Item Group or Customer Group.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Convert points into a cash discount with a redemption rule.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Cap the discount at a share of the cart total.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Show the point balance and estimated earnings in the website cart.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Apply the loyalty discount to quotations and sales orders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. Keep a running balance for each customer in loyalty transactions.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Installation<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    1. After purchasing the app from Webkul Store, you will receive a link to download the module ZIP file.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Extract the ZIP file. You will see a folder named ‘website_loyalty’.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Set up the module in your git repository, then fetch it using:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
      bench get-app --branch main https:\/\/git.webkul.com\/erpnext-apps\/erpnext-website-loyalty-management.git<\/pre>\n\n\n\n
      (Replace “main” with your branch name and replace the “HTTPS URL” with your HTTPS clone URL.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Workflow<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
          \n
          Setting Up the Loyalty Program<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
            \n
          1. After you install the app, a Website Loyalty<\/strong> section appears in the Website<\/strong> sidebar. It links to Loyalty Settings<\/strong>, Loyalty Rules<\/strong>, Redemption Rules<\/strong> and Loyalty Transactions<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
              \n
            1. Click Loyalty Settings<\/strong>. Tick Enabled<\/strong> to switch the program on.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            2. Enter the number of days in Points Expiry Days<\/strong>. Leave it at 0 if points should never expire.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            3. Set Maximum Cart Redemption Percent<\/strong>. A customer can never take more than this share of the cart off with points.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            4. Click Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

              Note: <\/strong>In this version, ERPNext adds and removes points when you submit a sales order, whichever Award On<\/strong> option you pick.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              Creating an Earning Rule<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
                \n
              1. Click Loyalty Rules<\/strong> in the sidebar. The app creates one earning rule for you, 1 Point Per 100<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                1. Open a rule, or add a new one from the list.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                2. Under Point Calculation<\/strong>, enter the Purchase Amount<\/strong> and the Points Per Amount<\/strong>. For example, 100 and 1 gives one point for every 100 spent.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                3. Enter a Minimum Order Amount<\/strong> if small orders should earn nothing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                4. Pick an Item Group<\/strong> or Customer Group<\/strong> to limit the rule. Add Valid From<\/strong> and Valid Upto<\/strong> dates for a time-limited offer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                5. Set the Priority<\/strong>. When several rules match, ERPNext uses the one with the lowest number.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                  Creating a Redemption Rule<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

                  1. Click Redemption Rules<\/strong> in the sidebar and open a rule.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  2. Enter the Points<\/strong> and the Discount Amount<\/strong> they are worth. The default redemption rule, 1 Point = 1 Discount<\/strong>, makes each point worth 1 in your currency.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  3. Enter a Minimum Order Amount<\/strong> if the cart must reach a set value before points can be used.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  4. Click Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                    Redeeming Points in the Cart<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

                    1. A logged-in customer opens the cart. The Website Loyalty<\/strong> panel shows their loyalty points balance and the points this order will earn.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                      1. The customer types the number of points to use and clicks Redeem<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                      2. The Payment Summary<\/strong> now shows the Loyalty Discount<\/strong> and a lower Grand Total<\/strong>. Click Remove<\/strong> to undo it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
                        Note: <\/strong>Guests do not see the panel. A customer must log in to earn or redeem points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                        Tracking Points from the Backend<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
                          \n
                        1. Open the customer’s sales order and expand the Website Loyalty<\/strong> section. It shows the points redeemed, the discount they gave, the points earned and the Loyalty Stage<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                            1. Open a row to see the full record, including the linked sales order. If you cancel a sales order, ERPNext adds a Reversal<\/strong> entry to the loyalty transactions.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
