Introduction<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

ERPNext MultiVendor Marketplace<\/strong> turns your ERPNext Webshop into a multi vendor marketplace. Many sellers can list and sell their products next to your own catalogue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sellers sign up through a public seller registration page. Once you approve them, each seller runs a shop from the seller dashboard. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They add products, update stock, track orders and ask for payouts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the store admin, you stay in control. You approve sellers, products and stock changes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You split orders by seller, pay sellers and moderate their reviews. This guide walks through each of these tasks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prerequisites for using ERPNext MultiVendor Marketplace<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

ERPNext MultiVendor Marketplace works in conjunction with the following module:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Webshop<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You must install the above-mentioned module to use the ERPNext MultiVendor Marketplace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Installation<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

    1. After purchasing the app from Webkul Store, you will receive a link to download the module ZIP file.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Extract the ZIP file. You will see a folder named ‘erpnext_multivendor_marketplace’.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Set up the module in your git repository, then fetch it using:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      (Replace “main” with your branch name and replace the “HTTPS URL” with your HTTPS clone URL.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Workflow<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

          Setting Up the Marketplace<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
            \n
          1. After you install the app, a Marketplace<\/strong> workspace appears in the desk. It links to sellers, requests, payments, reviews, settings and reports.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            1. Open Marketplace Settings<\/strong>. Tick Enable Marketplace<\/strong> and choose how to Register Sellers As<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            2. Choose which requests to approve on their own. Use Auto Approve Seller Requests<\/strong>, Auto Approve Seller Products<\/strong> and Auto Approve Quantity Updates<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            3. Set the Default Marketplace Commission (%)<\/strong> and the Company<\/strong>. Then set the Parent Warehouse for Seller Warehouses<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

              1. Further down, set the seller registration terms, review rules, seller details shown on the store and email alerts. Click Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
                Note: <\/strong>When an auto approve option is off, the request waits for you. Nothing goes live on the website until you approve it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                Registering and Approving Sellers<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
                  \n
                1. A new seller opens the Become a Seller<\/strong> page at \/seller-registration. They fill in their account and shop details.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                2. The seller clicks Register as Seller<\/strong> to send the seller registration request.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                  1. The seller can sign in at once. Until you approve them, their seller dashboard shows the Pending<\/strong> status. They can only edit My Profile<\/strong> and Shop<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                    1. In the desk, open Marketplace Seller<\/strong>. New sellers show the Pending<\/strong> status.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                      1. Open the seller. Click Status<\/strong>, then Approve<\/strong>. Use Reject<\/strong> to turn the request down.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                        When you approve a seller, the system can create a warehouse for them under the parent warehouse. Use Suspend<\/strong> later to stop an approved seller from selling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                        Managing Products from the Seller Dashboard<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
                          \n
                        1. The seller opens Products<\/strong> in the seller dashboard. The list shows each product, its stock and its approval status.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                          1. The seller clicks New product<\/strong>. They fill in the name, price, stock, image and description, then click Save<\/strong>. The new product waits for product approval.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                            1. To add sizes or colours, the seller opens Variants<\/strong>. They pick a product and type an expression such as Colour: Red, Blue; Size: S, M. They click Preview<\/strong>, then Create Variants<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                              1. To add many products at once, the seller opens Bulk Upload<\/strong>. They download a CSV template, fill it in and zip it with the images. Then they click Upload<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                                1. To change stock, the seller opens Inventory<\/strong>. They type the new quantity and click Update<\/strong>. This sends a quantity request to you.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                                  1. The seller opens Shop<\/strong> to set the shop name, tagline, logo, banner and policies.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                                    Approving Products and Stock Updates<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

                                    1. Open Marketplace Product Request<\/strong> in the desk. It lists every new product, product change and quantity update from sellers.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                                      1. Open a request. Click Approve & Process<\/strong> to accept it, or Reject<\/strong> to give a reason. Approving a quantity update posts the stock into the seller’s warehouse.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                                        1. You can also give product approval from the Item<\/strong> form. Click Marketplace<\/strong>, then Approve for Marketplace<\/strong> or Reject for Marketplace<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                                          Note: <\/strong>A seller’s product appears on the website only after you approve it. If the seller edits an approved product, it goes back to Pending<\/strong> until you approve it again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                          Orders, Fulfilment and Payouts<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
                                            \n
                                          1. The customer places one order, even when it holds items from many sellers. Open the Sales Order<\/strong> and click Marketplace<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                                          2. Click Seller Delivery Notes<\/strong> or Seller Invoices<\/strong>. The system creates one draft document for each seller.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
