Customers pay from the shopping cart with the PayPal smart button, or with a debit or credit card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Store admins set up the connection once. After that, ERPNext saves each PayPal payment as a transaction and links it to the Sales Order, Sales Invoice and Payment Entry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This guide shows you how to set up the app and how customers pay. It also shows how to track a PayPal payment and make a PayPal refund from the backend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wk-index-wrap\"><div class=\"block-wrap\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading index-title\">Prerequisites for using ERPNext PayPal Express &amp; Direct Checkout<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>ERPNext PayPal Express Checkout works in conjunction with the following apps:<br>1. The customer adds items to the cart and opens the <strong>Shopping Cart<\/strong> page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Under <strong>Payment Summary<\/strong>, the customer sees the PayPal checkout. Open a product page on the website. Open <strong>PayPal Express Checkout Transaction<\/strong> to see one row for each PayPal payment. Open a captured transaction and click <strong>Refund<\/strong>.
