Customers are redirected to an external website to complete their purchase.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This module adds a dedicated <strong>Affiliate<\/strong> product type to Bagisto. Each affiliate product carries a link to the seller&#8217;s website and shows a button of your own design in place of the store&#8217;s <strong>Add To Cart<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wk-index-wrap\"><div class=\"block-wrap\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading index-title\">Features of Affiliate Product<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Admins can easily create new products using the &#8216;Affiliate&#8217; product type.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Store owners can set an external website Hyperlink where the customer will be redirected.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Option to enable or disable the display of the product price on the storefront.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Store owners can customize the button caption text (e.g., &#8220;Buy at Partner Store&#8221;).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Store owners can customize the button background color to match their theme.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Store owners can customize the button font color.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A store-wide default button text, background color and font color can be set from the configuration, per channel and language.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On the storefront, the normal &#8220;Add To Cart&#8221; and &#8220;Buy Now&#8221; buttons are replaced. Clicking the new button opens the external hyperlink in a new tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Affiliate products cannot be added to the shopping cart, so they never reach your checkout.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Affiliate products keep no stock, so the admin product list shows them as &#8220;Stock Disabled&#8221;.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The module is available in all 22 languages that Bagisto ships with.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wk-index-wrap\"><div class=\"block-wrap\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading index-title\">Installation of Affiliate Product<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Unzip the respective extension zip and then merge the &#8220;packages&#8221; folder into the project root directory.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Goto composer.json file and add the following line under &#8216;psr-4&#8217;:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"EnlighterJSRAW\">&quot;Webkul\\\\AffiliateProduct\\\\&quot;: &quot;packages\/Webkul\/AffiliateProduct\/src&quot;<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Run the below command to autoload the newly added files:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"EnlighterJSRAW\">composer dump-autoload<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Goto bootstrap\/providers.php file and add following line under &#8216;providers&#8217; array:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"EnlighterJSRAW\">Webkul\\AffiliateProduct\\Providers\\AffiliateProductServiceProvider::class,<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Run the below mentioned command from the root directory in the terminal to complete the setup. It runs the database migrations, publishes the module&#8217;s assets and clears the cache:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"EnlighterJSRAW\">php artisan affiliate-product:install<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>That&#8217;s it, now just execute the project on your specified domain.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> This extension is compatible with Bagisto v2.4.11 and works with the default storefront theme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wk-index-wrap\"><div class=\"block-wrap\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading index-title\">Configuration: Button Settings<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>First, set the default look of the affiliate button for your whole store. For this purpose, the Bagisto Affiliate Product module adds an <strong>Affiliate Product<\/strong> group to the admin configuration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These settings are the fallback for every affiliate product. A product&#8217;s own button settings, covered in the next section, always take priority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Button Settings Section<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The section has three settings:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Button Text:<\/strong> The caption shown on the button when a product has no caption of its own. It is required and can be up to 20 characters. It is saved per channel and language.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Button Background Color:<\/strong> The default background color of the button, saved per channel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Button Font Color:<\/strong> The default text color of the button, saved per channel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full wp-duotone-unset-1\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1508\" height=\"1000\" src=\"https:\/\/cdnblog.webkul.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/button-settings.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-560011\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cdnblog.webkul.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/button-settings.webp 1508w, https:\/\/cdnblog.webkul.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/button-settings-300x199.webp 300w, https:\/\/cdnblog.webkul.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/button-settings-1200x796.webp 1200w, https:\/\/cdnblog.webkul.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/button-settings-250x166.webp 250w, https:\/\/cdnblog.webkul.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/button-settings-768x509.webp 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1508px) 100vw, 1508px\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step-by-Step: Set the Default Button<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to <strong>Configure &gt;&gt; Affiliate Product &gt;&gt; General<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If your store has more than one channel or language, choose the one you want to set up from the selectors at the top.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the <strong>Button Settings<\/strong> section, enter the <strong>Button Text<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose the <strong>Button Background Color<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose the <strong>Button Font Color<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Save Configuration<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">When the Default Button Is Used<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The <strong>Button Text<\/strong> appears on every affiliate product whose <strong>Button Caption<\/strong> is left empty. If both are empty, the button reads <strong>Buy Now<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The colors are used for an affiliate product that has no colors of its own. A product saved from its edit page always keeps its own colors, which start as blue and white.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Saving the configuration refreshes your storefront pages, so customers see the new button straight away.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wk-index-wrap\"><div class=\"block-wrap\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading index-title\">Admin Management : Affiliate Products<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the module is installed, the admin can add affiliate products from the store&#8217;s admin panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Creating an Affiliate Product<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to <strong>Catalog &gt;&gt; Products<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Create Product<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the <strong>Create New Product<\/strong> form, choose <strong>Affiliate<\/strong> as the <strong>Type<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose the <strong>Family<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter the product <strong>SKU<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Save Product<\/strong>. Here you need to fill in all the general details like name, description, price, categories, and images.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Affiliate Product Settings<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Scroll down to find the special <strong>Affiliate Information<\/strong> section. It is required and must be a valid link starting with http:\/\/ or https:\/\/.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Display Price:<\/strong> Turn this switch on or off to choose if you want to show the product price on your store page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Button Caption:<\/strong> Write the exact text you want to show on the button, up to 20 characters. Leave it empty to use the <strong>Button Text<\/strong> from the configuration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Button Background Color:<\/strong> Choose the background color of the button.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Button Font Color:<\/strong> Choose the text color of the button.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Click <strong>Save Product<\/strong> to save the product. The button caption and colors are saved for the language selected at the top of the edit page, so you can give each language its own caption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Affiliate Products in the Product List<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Affiliate products appear in <strong>Catalog &gt;&gt; Products<\/strong> with the type <strong>affiliate<\/strong>. Since they keep no stock, the quantity column shows <strong>Stock Disabled<\/strong>. The colors and the text will match your settings, and there is no quantity box.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When the customer clicks this button, the external website link you provided opens in a new tab. They cannot add this item to your store&#8217;s shopping cart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The price is shown only when <strong>Display Price<\/strong> is turned on for the product.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On category and search pages, the affiliate product is listed with its <strong>Add To Cart<\/strong> button disabled.
