AI model type chooses how the module reaches an AI model. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The default is Preconfigured. When you choose Preconfigured, fill in three fields:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Content generation endpoint is the URL the module sends the prompt to.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Model fetch endpoint is the URL the module reads the list of models from.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Preconfigured model is the model to use. When you choose LLM Provider, the endpoint fields are replaced by these fields:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>LLM provider is one of OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic, OpenRouter, Cerebras or DeepSeek. The default is OpenAI.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>API key is the key from your provider account. The module stores it encrypted. Leave the field empty on later saves to keep the saved key.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Summary model is the model that writes the summaries. Enter the API key, then choose a model from the list.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Max tokens is the length limit of the AI reply. The default is 1024. It must be a positive whole number.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Click Validate Provider to test the key and model before you save. Some providers show it only once.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the module, open General, set AI model type to LLM Provider, choose the LLM<br>provider, and paste the key into API key.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose the Summary model, click Validate Provider, and wait for the Valid<br>message.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click Save.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>If validation fails, check that the key belongs to the provider you selected, that the model name is spelled as the provider lists it, and that your server can reach the provider over the internet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Summary settings<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This tab controls how summaries are generated, where they appear, and what information is shown to your customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Use Custom Product Rating module \u2014<\/strong> When both Product Comments and Custom Product Rating are installed, enable this to use wkproductrating reviews instead. The field is read-only when only one review module is available.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Generate summary in customer language \u2014<\/strong> When enabled, a summary is generated for each active language and shown in the language the customer is using. When disabled, only the shop default language summary is generated and shown.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Generate summary automatically on product page \u2014<\/strong> When enabled, missing or outdated summaries are generated in the background when a customer opens a product page. When disabled, summaries are only generated from the back office or cron.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Minimum reviews required \u2014<\/strong> Summary is generated and displayed only when the product has at least this many published reviews.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Maximum reviews sent to AI \u2014<\/strong> The most recent reviews are sent to the AI for summarization. Lower values reduce AI costs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Display position \u2014<\/strong> Choose between &#8220;Product footer (above reviews)&#8221; or &#8220;Product additional information&#8221; for where the summary block appears.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Show average rating and review count \u2014<\/strong> When enabled, shows the star rating and number of reviews above the summary text.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Show AI-generated note \u2014<\/strong> When enabled, the note &#8220;Generated by AI from customer reviews&#8221; appears under the summary.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Block title<\/strong> \u2014 The heading text for the summary block. Can be translated per language.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Summary prompt \u2014<\/strong> Instructions for the AI on how to write the summary. Supports placeholders like {product_name}, {review_count}, {average_rating}, {language}, and {reviews}. Each row shows the review count, average rating, language status, last generation date, and summary text.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The status badges mean:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Generated \u2014<\/strong> the summary matches the current reviews.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Outdated \u2014<\/strong> reviews were added, changed, or removed since the summary was written.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Not generated \u2014<\/strong> no summary exists yet for that language.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Not enough reviews \u2014<\/strong> the product has fewer reviews than the minimum reviews required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Failed \u2014<\/strong> the last attempt failed. The module waits one hour before it tries again.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Use the buttons above the list for bulk work:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Generate all pending<\/strong> <strong>\u2014<\/strong> creates every missing or outdated summary in batches. The number in brackets is how many are waiting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Regenerate all (after prompt\/model change) <strong>\u2014<\/strong> <\/strong>marks every summary as pending and regenerates them.
