You can send payment requests directly from Odoo to the Stripe without switching between systems. This setup keeps your checkout process simple and fast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It processes payments in real time using Stripe Terminal. It reduces manual work, lowers errors, and updates records instantly.

Retail stores and other businesses that accept card payments can use it to improve the customer checkout experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Installation<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

    1. Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive a link to download the Module’s zip<\/strong> file<\/strong>.
      <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. As a result, you will be able to see a folder named- wk_stripe_terminal_integration<\/strong>
      <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path<\/strong>.
      <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Now, open Odoo App<\/a> and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate Developer Mode<\/strong>.
      <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Then, open the Apps menu and click on \u2018Update Modules List<\/strong>.\u2019
      <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search \u2018wk_stripe_terminal_integration\u2019<\/strong>

    7. You will be able to see the module in the search results. Click on \u2018Activate<\/strong>\u2019 to install it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Workflow<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

      1. After installing Odoo Stripe Payment Terminal, go to the Stripe terminal configuration<\/strong> menu in the Odoo backend to set up your Odoo Stripe Payment Terminal<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      2. Enter your Stripe Secret Key<\/strong> and other required configuration in the Stripe Payment Provider settings. Save the configuration to connect Odoo with your Stripe account securely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      3. After saving the\u00a0credentials, open Stripe Terminal settings and go to the\u00a0Locations section.<\/strong> Enter the details and click Generate Location<\/strong> to create the Stripe location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      4. Now go to the Stripe Readers section<\/strong>. Click on Register Reader<\/strong>. Enter the registration code <\/strong>& other credentials to confirm & complete the registration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      5. Next, go to Invoicing \u2192 Customers \u2192 Invoices <\/strong>and open an existing invoice or create a new Draft and Confirm.  After confirming the invoice, click on Pay<\/strong> to make the payment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      6. Choose Stripe Terminal <\/strong>as the Payment Method and select the Terminal to proceed with the payment. Then, click on\u00a0Create <\/strong>Payment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      7. The payment request is sent to the<\/span>\u00a0Stripe <\/strong>terminal. Meanwhile, you can see the live payment status on Odoo screen. After that, you will see that the invoice has been labelled as Paid<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      8. Go to Configuration\u2192Stripe Terminal Transaction.<\/strong> Finally, the admin can review all terminal transactions from the backend, including payment amount, status, <\/strong>and linked invoices<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
