After unzipping the main folder, you will find the folder. You need to choose the folder according to your open cart version.<\/p>\n
In the zip folder, you will find admin, catalog, ocmod <\/strong>and stripe-lib folders<\/strong><\/strong>. <\/p>\nPayment Mode:<\/strong><\/span> The admin can select the Payment Mode <\/strong>(Test\/live). Now, the admin will have to add the secret and Publish key for testing or live.<\/p>\n
Currency Alteration:<\/strong><\/span> The admin can select the currency that will be charged to the customer at the time of payment. Meanwhile, if it is disabled and the customer is using a disabled currency at the front end then the stripe payment method will no longer be available for the payment.<\/p>\n
Further, in the Checkout Management,\u00a0<\/strong>the admin can-<\/p>\n
<\/p>\nSelect Yes,\u00a0<\/strong>if the admin wants the customer to provide the address while making the payment on the stripe checkout page otherwise select NO.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Log in to your Stripe account and activate both payment methods from here to enable Google Pay and Apple Pay on the Stripe checkout page.<\/p>\n
Checkout in your Stripe Dashboard is enabled for Google Pay or Apple Pay.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\nGoogle pay, Apple pay wallet option will show hereafter enable as per the below image:<\/p>\n

From here, the admin can view all the payment details via the filter as well as per the below image:<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\nMaking Payment With Stripe Payment Method<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\nFurther, if the customer’s details full fill the conditions which are set by the admin then this method will display to the customer at the checkout page.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\nAfter selecting the Stripe Payment method, click on the continue button and that will redirect the customer to the stripe payment gateway to complete the payment process.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\nMoreover, filling in the required details just click on the Pay button. After payment is completed, the customer will be redirected to the order confirmation page-<\/p>\n
<\/p>\nAfter that, by clicking on the history button, the customer will be redirected to the order history page. Here, the customer can click on the order to view the details about that order-<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\nStripe Account Management<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\nMoreover, the admin can see the details under the Stripe account by navigating to Payment\u00a0<\/strong>and click on the order to see the details of the order as shown in the image below-<\/p>\n
<\/p>\nIf Admin has enabled the option to create customers, then admin can see created customers by navigating to the Customers\u00a0<\/strong>and click on the name of the customer to see the complete detail of the customer.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\nFurther, the admin can make the refund of the purchase. To make the refund, the admin can navigate to Sales> Orders\u00a0<\/strong>and click on the View<\/strong> order for which the admin wants to refund to the customer-<\/p>\n
<\/p>\nNow navigate to the history from where the admin can make the refund process.<\/p>\n
Moreover, on the history tab, in the bottom section, there is a refund button. The admin can click on that refund button to make a refund to the customer.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\nAfter that, the order status will be automatically changed to ‘Refunded’.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
<\/p>\nAdmin can also see the order status under a Stripe account. To view the refunded order the admin can navigate to Payments\u00a0<\/strong>and click on the\u00a0Refunded<\/strong> section and view all the refunded orders.<\/p>\n
Now by clicking on the particular refunded order, the admin can view the status and complete details for that refunded order-<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\nPayment Action<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
Opencart Stripe Payment Method allows the admin to set the payment action as Authorize and Capture<\/strong> and Authorize<\/strong>. Both payment actions have different functionality and features.<\/p>\n
Authorize and Capture<\/h3>\n
With this method, the admin can keep the payment processed by the customer under the captured<\/strong> payment section at the stripe end. For this, the admin will select the Authorize and Capture payment action as shown in the image below:<\/p>\n
<\/p>\nMoreover, when an order is placed from the customer’s end it will be visible to the admin from the backend just like any other order.<\/p>\n
In this payment action the admin can see multiple options under the Stripe payment tab as shown in the image below:<\/p>\n
<\/p>\nCancel Fund<\/strong><\/h4>\n
By this, the admin cancels the particular order, and the order status will be changed to Canceled<\/strong>. Once the admin clicks on the cancel button, a popup will be visible.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\nAfter pressing the OK\u00a0<\/strong>button of the popup, a button will appear showing the status as Canceled as shown in the image below:<\/p>\n
<\/p>\nOn the stripe and also, the particular order will list under the All<\/strong> Payments tab with status Canceled<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\nCapture Fund<\/strong><\/h4>\n
The admin can capture the amount by clicking on this button. After clicking, a popup will appear saying “Success: Payment has been captured successfully…!!!” as shown in the image below:<\/p>\n
<\/p>\nOnce the admin clicks the OK<\/strong> button present in the popup, the Buttons will get replaced with two buttons named Fund Captured<\/strong> and Refund <\/strong>as shown in the image below:<\/strong><\/p>\n
<\/p>\nWith this the order, status will get changed to the succeeded<\/strong> under the All Tab at the stripe end.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\nOnce the admin clicks on the Refund<\/strong> button, the admin gets directed to the order list page with the popup message “Success: Amount has been generated successfully.” and the order status will get changed to Refunded<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
Also, that particular order will come under the refunded tab at the stripe end.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\nThe same will reflect the stripe end, the payment will shift to the Refunded<\/strong> Tab.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\nAuthorize<\/h3>\n
When the admin selected payment action as Authorize, there is no need to capture the payment as it will succeed\/ capture automatically.
<\/p>\nThe admin can generate the refunds under the history tab as shown in the image below:<\/p>\n
<\/p>\nAfter clicking on this button, the admin will direct to the order list page, and the order status will change to Refunded<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\nThe admin can also check the order status by viewing the order as shown in the image below:<\/p>\n
