Look for these two values and copy them now:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Application (client) ID<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2192 this is your&nbsp;<strong>Client ID<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Directory (tenant) ID<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2192 this is your&nbsp;<strong>Tenant ID<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Paste them into a safe place. You will need them in Step 2 of the Setup Wizard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"step-4-\u2014-create-a-client-secret\">Step 4 \u2014 Create a Client Secret<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Next, you need to create a secret. A secret is like a password for your app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On the left menu, click&nbsp;<strong>Certificates &amp; secrets<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under&nbsp;<strong>Client secrets<\/strong>, click&nbsp;<strong>+ New client secret<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Give it a name, like&nbsp;<code>Prestashop Power BI Secret<\/code>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pick an expiration date.&nbsp;<strong>24 months<\/strong>&nbsp;is a good choice. Also, set a reminder so you can rotate it later.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>Add<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Copy the&nbsp;<code>Value<\/code>&nbsp;column&nbsp;<strong>right away<\/strong>. It lets the plugin sign in on its own, without any browser redirect. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So you never have to log in by hand when the token expires. Scheduled sync also runs more reliably.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This step is optional. However, we strongly recommend it for production sites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On the left menu, click&nbsp;<strong>Authentication<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scroll to&nbsp;<strong>Advanced settings \u2192 Allow public client flows<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Toggle it to&nbsp;<strong>Yes<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>Save<\/strong>&nbsp;at the top.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 7 \u2014 Turn On the Power BI API (If Needed)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Your Power BI tenant admin must also allow apps to call the Power BI REST API. This is a one-time change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/app.powerbi.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/app.powerbi.com<\/a>&nbsp;and sign in.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the gear icon \u2192&nbsp;<strong>Admin portal \u2192 Tenant settings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Find&nbsp;<strong>Developer settings \u2192 Allow service principals to use Power BI APIs<\/strong>. Turn it on.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can scope it to a security group if you want more control.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>Apply<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>You only need to do this once
