Odoo POS Disable Financial Data<\/a> module helps you control what financial data is visible in the Point of Sale. It prevents users from having sensitive data access<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this module, you can hide details like cash amounts, reports, and total orders from the POS interface. This reduces the risk of misuse or manipulation by cashiers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It provides simple configuration options to restrict visibility based on your needs. This ensures better control and improved security during POS operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Installation<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    1. Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive a link to download module’s zip<\/strong> file<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Extract the file on your system after download finishes. As a result, you will be able to see a folder named- \u2018 pos_disable_financial_data<\/strong> (you can get the technical name from odoo app of the respective module)\u2019<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Now, open Odoo App<\/a> and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate Developer Mode<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Then, open Apps menu and click on \u2018Update Modules List<\/strong>.\u2019<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search \u2018pos_disable_financial_data<\/strong>\u2019<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    7. You will be able to see module in the search results. Click on \u2018Activate<\/strong>\u2019 to install it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      W<\/strong>orkflow<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

      1. Go to Point of Sale, then click Configuration and select Settings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Open the settings page and scroll down to the Hide Financial Data<\/strong> section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      2. Then click the checkbox in front of Hide Financial Data In Closing Control <\/strong>to enable POS Disable Financial Data.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      3. After that, enable Hide The Cash In\/Out Button In Closing Control<\/strong> to Hide Cash In\/Out Button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      4. The cash in\/out button will no longer be visible in the POS interface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
