Odoo Login as Another User<\/a> allows administrators access to any internal user account directly from Odoo. It is mainly used for monitoring, administrator access, and issue checking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this module, admins can switch to a user\u2019s account without knowing or sharing their password. This helps them see exactly what the user sees inside the system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Odoo Login as Another User works within Odoo\u2019s normal environment and allows admins to switch back to their own account easily after completing their task.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Installation<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

    1. Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive a link to download module’s zip<\/strong> file<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Extract the file on your system after download finishes. As a result, you will be able to see a folder named- \u2018wk_login_another_user<\/strong>(you can get the technical name from odoo app of the respective module)\u2019<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Now, open Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate Developer Mode<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Then, open Apps menu and click on \u2018Update Modules List<\/strong>.\u2019<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search \u2018wk_login_another_user<\/strong>\u2019<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    7. You will be able to see module in the search results. Click on \u2018Activate<\/strong>\u2019 to install it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Workflow<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

      1. After installing the module, the administrator should navigate to Settings, then Users & Companies<\/strong>. From the dropdown menu, select Users<\/strong> to navigate the users list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      2. Upon clicking the Users<\/strong> menu, the administrator can view the list of all existing user accounts. By clicking the Connect<\/strong> button next to a user, the admin can securely access that user\u2019s account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      3. Once the Connect<\/strong> button is clicked, the administrator is automatically logged into the selected user\u2019s account. The system switches the session to that user, granting access to the user account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      4. After accessing the user\u2019s account, the administrator can navigate through the system and perform actions as required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
