Enters FASHN VTON <\/strong>a cutting-edge, maskless, pixel-space virtual try-on<\/a> model now open-sourced under the Apache-2.0 license, enabling developers to build realistic VTON applications<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At its core, FASHN VTON focuses on understanding the human body, adapting clothing to it, and generating photorealistic results\u2014all while keeping the person\u2019s identity intact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is FASHN VTON?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

FASHN VTON is an open-source, AI-powered virtual try-on model that generates photorealistic images of people wearing garments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It takes an image of human model and an image of a garment along with the category of the cloth like tops, bottoms, and one piece and return image of that person wearing the garment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Functionality Behind Fashn-VTON-1.5<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This VTON works using three major components:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1) Person Understanding (Human Parsing + Pose Estimation)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The model first understands the person image for pose landmarks and body segmentation mask, and extarcts face region arms, torso, legs and background.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This step helps the model know: where cloth should be placed and what should remain unchanged (face, hands, etc.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2) Cloth Warping (Geometric Alignment)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Usually clothes images are flat but human bodies are 3D bent, and dynamic. To solve this mismatch we use cloth warping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The warping module reshapes the garment to match the person\u2019s shoulder width ,torso angle, arm position and body posture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By using geometric transformations such as Thin Plate Spline<\/a> (TPS) the system performs streching, bending and body adaption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It generates a warped cloth map that already matches the person\u2019s pose and proportions before image generation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3) Diffusion-Based Generation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Instead of directly pasting the warped cloth onto the body, the system uses a diffusion-based generation process, similar in spirit to Stable Diffusion<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the help of diffusion model it reconstructs missing pixels to produce realistic fabric folds and shadows with consistent lighting, and seamless blending with the person\u2019s skin and body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
