Using this module, the admin can enable the option of USPS shipping method for the seller\u2019s products.<\/p>\n
Moreover, this allows the customers to choose the USPS shipping method on the checkout page if the seller has provided the USPS shipping method for their product.<\/p>\n
NOTE:<\/strong> This module is an add-on to the Magento 2 Marketplace Module. To use this module you must have installed Webkul Magento 2 Marketplace Module<\/a><\/strong> first.<\/p>\n Check the plugin working and overview at the storefront in the video mentioned below –<\/p>\n Firstly, you need to log in to Webkul Store, go to\u00a0My Account<\/strong>>My Purchased Products<\/strong>\u00a0section, verify and then download and extract the contents of this zip folder on the system.<\/p>\n Once the module zip is extracted, follow path\u00a0src>app<\/strong>\u00a0and then copy the\u00a0app<\/strong>\u00a0folder into the\u00a0Magento 2 root<\/strong>\u00a0directory on the server as shown below:<\/p>\n After uploading the module folder, you need to run the following commands in the Magento 2 root directory:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n If you have purchased this extension from the Magento Marketplace then please follow the below process or visit\u00a0this<\/a>\u00a0link.<\/p>\n You need to get access keys, navigate to\u00a0My Profile<\/strong>\u00a0in Magento Marketplace, then choose\u00a0Access Keys<\/strong>\u00a0in the\u00a0My Products<\/strong>\u00a0section.<\/p>\n Go to\u00a0Magento 2<\/strong>\u00a0and then you need to copy both the Access Keys \u2013 Public Key and Private Key. These access keys will be needed in the next steps for authentication.<\/p>\n If access keys are not created earlier, click\u00a0Create A New Access Key<\/strong>, enter any name and click OK.<\/p>\n To know the component name and version number, go to your Magento Marketplace account section,\u00a0My Profile>My Purchases<\/strong>, then find this extension to view the details.<\/p>\n Please note \u2013 Below is an example image, every extension will have its unique component name and version.<\/strong><\/p>\n After that, navigate to your Magento project directory and update your composer.json file in the following format.<\/p>\n composer require <component-name>:<version><\/strong><\/p>\n For example, to install version 5.0.0 of this extension you need to run the following command:<\/p>\n composer require webkul\/marketplace-usps-shipping:5.0.0<\/strong><\/p>\n Now you will need to enter the\u00a0Access Keys<\/a>\u00a0that you obtained as explained in the first step #1 Get Access Keys.<\/p>\n Wait for Composer to finish updating your project dependencies and make sure there aren\u2019t any errors.<\/p>\n You need to run the following commands:<\/p>\n The user must create a\u00a0USPS Shipping Account<\/a>\u00a0before configuring the shipping method.<\/p>\n After creating an account the user will get a mail with all the details like User ID, Password, link to the USPS test server.<\/p>\n After submitting the form successfully, the user will see a confirmation message as shown in the image below.<\/p>\n Now the user will get an email with all the credentials to access the USPS server as shown in the image below.<\/p>\n After installation of the Magento 2 Marketplace USPS shipping<\/strong> module, the admin will be able to configure the module.<\/p>\n Navigate through->Store->Configuration->Sales->Delivery Methods->Marketplace USPS<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Enabled for Checkout:<\/strong> Set Enabled for Checkout as Yes<\/strong> to enable USPS Shipping method.<\/p>\n Development Endpoint: <\/strong> Enter the USPS sandbox API URL provided in the confirmation email after registering for a USPS Web Tools or Shipping API account.<\/p>\n Title:<\/strong> Enter the Title for the name of the shipping method that is shown during the checkout process.<\/p>\n User ID and Password:<\/strong> Enter the User ID and Password from your USPS account.<\/p>\n Mode:<\/strong> Choose one of the following options here:<\/p>\n Payment Account Type:<\/strong> Choose the payment account type as the following:<\/p>\n Account Number:<\/strong> Here admin fill the account number.<\/p>\n Customer Registration Identifier:\u00a0<\/strong>A Customer Registration Identification number (CRID) is a USPS-generated numeric code that uniquely identifies a business at a location.<\/p>\n Mailer Identifier (MID):\u00a0<\/strong>The Mailer Identifier (MID) is a field within the Intelligent Mail barcode that is used to identify mailers.<\/p>\n MIDs are assigned by the USPS\u00ae to a Mail Owner, Mailing Agent or other service providers who request them.<\/p>\n Mailer Identification code:<\/strong> The unique mailer identifier designated for the manifest (Manifest MID).<\/p>\n Allowed Domestic Mail Methods:<\/strong> Select the domestic mail methods as shown in the image below. Allowed International Mail Methods: <\/strong>This section lets you choose which USPS services are available for international shipping.<\/p>\n Processing Categories:<\/strong>Choose the Processing Categories as the following:<\/p>\n Maximum Package Weight: <\/strong>The Maximum Package Weight field defines the highest weight (in lbs or kg) that a package can be for shipping.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n Handling Applied:\u00a0<\/strong>From the given dropdown options the admin can select the way of applying the handling fees. The handling fees can be applied Per order\/Per Package.<\/strong><\/p>\n Calculate Handling Fees: <\/strong>Here the admin can select the handling fees types as the following:<\/p>\n Handling Fees:<\/strong> Here the admin can fill the handling fees.<\/p>\n Processing Categories:<\/strong> Processing Categories define how mail is handled based on size and shape.<\/p>\n Domestic Destination Entry Facility Type: <\/strong>Admin can select the domestic destination entry facility type . It helps optimize shipping rates and delivery speed based on the entry point selected.<\/p>\n International Destination Entry Facility Type:<\/strong>Selecting the correct type ensures proper routing and can impact shipping cost and delivery times.<\/p>\n AESITN :<\/strong>AESITN (Automated Export System\/Internal Transaction Number) is required for international shipments.<\/p>\n Ship to Applicable Countries: <\/strong>By using this the admin can select any of these two options All Allowed countries\/Specific Countries<\/strong> from the dropdown.<\/strong><\/p>\n Ship to Specific Countries:\u00a0<\/strong>If the admin has selected specific countries in the above section then here, he needs to select the countries where the shipping is applicable.<\/p>\n Allow Seller to Save Usps Details:<\/strong> Set Yes<\/strong> for the seller to save USPS Details.<\/p>\n Displayed Error Message:<\/strong>\u00a0Enter an error message<\/strong> in the Displayed Error Message box that will appear if USPS Shipping is not available.<\/p>\n Show Method if Not Applicable:\u00a0<\/strong>Set Show Method if Not Applicable to Yes<\/strong> if you want to show USPS Shipping all time.
