your shop by which the admin can add an auction for their product and the buyer can bid on that product.<\/p>\n<p>The admin will be able to update and delete the auction and will be able to set Automatic, Reserve Price, and Incremental Auctions for their products.<\/p>\n<p>Magento 2 Auction works with simple, virtual &amp; downloadable product types.<\/p>\n<div class=\"panel panel-primary\">\n<div class=\"panel-heading\">\n<div>\n<h2 class=\"panel-title\">Features- Magento 2 Auction<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"panel-body\">\n<ul>\n<li>This module adds the auction feature for your shop.<\/li>\n<li>Incremental Auction Option set by the admin.<\/li>\n<li>Automatic and Reserve Price Auction option set by the admin.<\/li>\n<li>Also, the Admin can enable or disable the Email notification option to outbid buyers.<\/li>\n<li>Enable Email Notification for Auto-bid to the owner from the backend.<\/li>\n<li>If the user bid will be outbid then the user will notify automatically.<\/li>\n<li>Date time picker for date and time selection.<\/li>\n<li>Edit, Cancel, and delete features for product auction.<\/li>\n<li>Fully admin management.<\/li>\n<li>Multi-Lingual support \/ All language working including RTL.<\/li>\n<li>Compatible with the Multi-store.<\/li>\n<li>The admin can enable a wallet system, for receiving security for the auction applied which will be the percentage of the total bid amount.<\/li>\n<li>Also, the deducted amount can be refundable or non-refundable.<\/li>\n<li>The customer can add money to the wallet through a simple checkout process.<\/li>\n<li>The customer gets notified before the expiration of the wallet.<\/li>\n<li>Also, in the case of auto bids, normal bids are done automatically.<\/li>\n<li>The expiration date of the wallet amount will be set according to the Wallet setting, the admin has to set up <strong>cron<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>GraphQl is implemented for run this command <strong>PHP bin\/Magento cron: run<\/strong> The cron is in the default group and after enabling the cron it will run automatically every day at 1 am.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"panel panel-primary\">\n<div class=\"panel-heading\">\n<div>\n<h3 class=\"panel-title\">Installation- Magento 2 Auction<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"panel-body\">\n<p>Customers will get a <strong>zip folder<\/strong> and they have to extract the contents of this zip folder on their system.<\/p>\n<p>The extracted folder has an <strong>src<\/strong> folder, inside the src folder you have the <strong>app<\/strong> folder.\u00a0You need to transfer this <strong>app<\/strong> folder into the Magento 2 (Adobe Commerce) root directory on the server as shown below.<\/p>\n<p><a app\/code\/Webkul\/Auction and then move all module\u2019s files inside \/app\/code\/Webkul\/Auction\/ folder in Magento root directory.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"EnlighterJSRAW\">php bin\/magento indexer:reindex<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"EnlighterJSRAW\">php bin\/magento cache:flush<\/pre>\n\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Installation using composer:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If the module is purchased from the official Magento Marketplace then please follow the below process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Add the extension\u2019s name and version to your&nbsp;<code>composer.json<\/code>&nbsp;file:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Navigate to your Magento project directory and update your composer.json file.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<pre id=\"block-b9c0c98c-0b4a-4e35-afc0-e7ce1e7d7bb3\" class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">composer require &lt;composer Your public key is your username; your private key is your password.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wait for Composer to finish updating your project dependencies and make sure there aren\u2019t any errors.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"verify-the-extension\">Verify the extension<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To verify that the extension was installed properly, run the following command:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"EnlighterJSRAW\">php bin\/magento module:status Webkul_Auction<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>By default, the extension is probably disabled:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Module is disabled<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The extension name is in the format&nbsp;<code>&lt;VendorName&gt;_&lt;ComponentName&gt;<\/code> ; this is a different format from the Composer&#8217;s name. Use this format to enable the extension. If you are unsure of the extension name, run:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"EnlighterJSRAW\">php bin\/magento module:status<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>and look for the extension under \u201cList of disabled modules\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"enable-the-extension\">Enable the extension<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Some extensions won\u2019t work properly unless you clear Magento-generated static view files first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211;clear-static-content<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>option to clear static view files when you\u2019re enabling an extension.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Enable the extension and clear static view files:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre id=\"block-74be4b3c-2d1e-4fa3-b80c-6300a5a16aaa\" class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">php bin\/magento module:enable Webkul_Auction --clear-static-content<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Register the extension:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre id=\"block-501c915d-009a-40dc-80e2-109fb4d932d4\" class=\"wp-block-preformatted\"> php bin\/magento setup:upgrade<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Recompile your Magento project: In Production mode, you may receive a message to \u201cPlease rerun Magento compile command\u201d. Magento does not prompt you to run the compile command in Developer mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre id=\"block-d4fda600-70de-4f3f-88ca-6f7752a612bc\" class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">php bin\/magento setup:di:compile<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>4. It predetermines based on the current high bid.<\/p>\n<p>Also, In an incremental auction, if any bidder places a bid, then the current price will increase with the incremental price.<\/p>\n<p>Like if you are the first bidder and place a bid of $30. Then current bid becomes $40 ($30 + $10 incremental price). No one can place a bid less than $40. Let\u2019s explain this using an example.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About Increment Auction<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Increment bid is the amount by which a bid will increment each time the current bid is outdone. Now the Next minimum bid is automatically incremented by $10 and then the current bid is $40. and the Next Minimum bid is $50.01. current bid of $100, and a customer (A) is willing to pay $115 for it. Then $115 becomes the maximum bid of the customer (A). The bid increment on this item is $2.50, so Bid of the customer (A) will be save for $102.50. This becomes the current high bid.<\/p>\n<p>Another customer (B) bids the next bid increment (as specified on the item listing page),$105. Now for customer (A), it will automatically raise the bid to $107.50.<\/p>\n<p>A customer (C) enters a maximum bid of $150. In accordance with the current bid increment, his automatic bid will save like $110.<\/p>\n<p>Then, the customer&#8217;s (A) bid will automatically raise to $112.50. The customer&#8217;s (C) bid will automatically raise to $115.<\/p>\n<p>Since the next bid increment would be $117.50, which is more than the Customer&#8217;s (A) maximum bid amount so his bidding will drop out, and he will notify (by email) that your bid has surpassed.<\/p>\n<p>(If the auction were to end right then, the customer (c) would win the auction with a bid of $115.
