Odoo Website Wishlist Share<\/a> feature allows customers to create personalized wishlists and easily share them with others. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whether it’s for a special occasion or to save favourite items for later, this feature makes it simple for users to share their desired products via email or a shareable link. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Odoo Website Wishlist Share enhances the shopping experience, helps customers get the perfect gifts, and encourages more sales through easy sharing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prerequisites for using <\/strong>Odoo Website Wishlist Share<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Wishlist Share module works in conjunction with the following module:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Odoo Website Advanced Wishlist<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You must install the above-mentioned module to use Odoo Website Wishlist Share.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Easily add items to your wishlist with a single click, making it simple to save products you love.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. View and manage saved items at any time, ensuring your wishlist is always up to date.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Share the Odoo wishlist via email or a unique link, making it easy for friends or family to see your preferred items.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Odoo Website Wishlist Share allow others to purchase items directly from the wishlist, simplifying the gift-giving process.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Receive notifications when items are bought from the wishlist, keeping you informed of any purchases.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Create custom wishlists for specific occasions like birthdays, holidays, or special events to keep everything organized.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Remove or update items in the wishlist as needed, giving you full control over your saved products.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Track the availability of items in real-time, ensuring that the products you’re interested in are always in stock.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. Personalize Odoo wishlists by adding notes or details for each item, making it easier to communicate preferences with others.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Installation<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

    1. Once you purchase the App from the Webkul store, you will receive a link to download the module’s zip file<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. As a result, you will be able to see a folder named- \u2018website_wishlist_share<\/strong>\u2019. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo<\/strong> Add-Ons path<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Then, open the Apps menu and click on \u2018Update Modules List<\/strong>.\u2019<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search \u2018website_wishlist_share<\/strong>\u2019<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    7. You will be able to see the module in the search results. Click on \u2018Install\u2019<\/strong> to install it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Workflow<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

      1. After installing Odoo Website Wishlist Share<\/strong> module enable Website Wishlist Share feature from the backend. 
      Navigate to Settings<\/strong> > Website<\/strong> > Enable<\/strong> > Website Wishlist Share<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      2. Once enabled go to Website and open the shop page. You will see the Website Wishlists option at the top. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      3. Choose a product you want to add to your Odoo wishlist. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      On the product page click the Add to Wishlist button to add the item to your wishlist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      4. Create a new Odoo wishlist or add the product to an existing one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      My Wishlist<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

      Click the Wishlist<\/strong> icon at the top to view your wishlist. You can also see options like Your Friend\u2019s Wishlist<\/strong> or Public Wishlist<\/strong>, depending on the privacy settings added by the owner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      5. Open the wishlist you\u2019ve created or added products to, and you\u2019ll be able to see the items in it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      6. Click the three dots, on the wishlist for options like Edit<\/strong>, Move Wishlist to Cart<\/strong>, Make Default<\/strong>, or Delete Wishlist<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      7. Select Edit Wishlist<\/strong> to rename your wishlist, set privacy levels, or add a description. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      8. To share your wishlist with friends, choose Shared<\/strong> from the privacy drop-down, Once selected, click on the Add Contact<\/strong> option on the left-hand side.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      9. A pop-up will appear where you can enter the username and set the privacy level: View Only<\/strong> or View and Edit<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n


      After filling out the details, to share wishlist click Invite<\/strong> to send an email invitation to the user.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      10. When the user receives the invitation, they can accept it.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      11. Once accepted, they can view or edit the share wishlist based on the privacy settings you\u2019ve defined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      12. To see share wishlists by others, go to the Website > Wishlists<\/strong> section. Click on Your Friend\u2019s Wishlist<\/strong> to view wishlists shared with you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      13. To access public wishlists, select Public Wishlist<\/strong>, provided the owner has made their wishlist public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
