This guide describes the configuration and workflow for MOB Multi-Language Extension For Magento 2.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

INTRODUCTION<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Offering products to customers in their language helps the Sellers to expand their customer base. Purchasing from Multi-language web interface offered by the brands helps the customers to buy comfortably and confidently from their Websites. Magento allows you to manage your products in different languages on Magento Website. It bridges the linguistic gap between the Seller and the Buyer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are already managing Odoo and Magento in multiple languages and already usingOdoo bridge for Magento and wants to export product between Odoo and Magento in multiple languages, then Webkul offers you \u201cMOB Multi-Language Extension For Magento 2\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Odoo Bridge for Magento provides the facility to export the products between Odoo and Magento only in one language. \u201cMOB Multi-Language Extension For Magento 2<\/strong>\u201d <\/strong>offers you to export products between Odoo and Magento in multiple languages.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Note:- MOB Multi-Language Extension is a dependent Module on Odoo Bridge for Magento<\/strong> 2.x<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FEATURES<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

1:- MOB Multi-Language Extension For Magento 2<\/strong> allows you to export\/update products with translation bidirectionally between Odoo and Magento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note:- <\/strong> The category translation is only available till Odoo v12. In Odoo v13, the category name field is no more translated. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

INSTALLATION<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

After downloading the module, you will get a zip file containing two modules. The one with the name \u2018odoo_magento_multi_language<\/strong>\u2018 needs to be installed at Odoo end and the other with the name \u2018Odoomagentomultilang<\/strong>\u2018 needs to installed at Magento end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

a) Installation at Magento end.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

1:- Place \u201cMagento Module\u201d folder inside Magento\u00ae directory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2:- Run below-mentioned commands on the terminal from your Magento\u00ae root directory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3:- You need to upgrade the module list by running the command: \u201cphp -f bin\/magento setup:upgrade<\/strong>\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4:- Then do index management by running below command on terminal: \u201cphp bin\/magento indexer:reindex<\/strong>\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5:-Then do cache management by running below command on terminal: \u201cphp bin\/magento cache:flush<\/strong>\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6:- After clearing the cache. Logout and then re-login to Magento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

b) Installation at Odoo end<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

1:- Place the modules inside Odoo Addons which are available in \u201cOdoo Module<\/strong>\u201d folder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2:- Now, open the Odoo and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode<\/strong>. One can also activate the developer mode by typing \u2018debug=1<\/strong>\u2019 after \u2018web?<\/strong>\u2019 in the URL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3:- Then, open on Apps menu and click on \u2018Update Apps List<\/strong>\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4:- In the search bar, remove all the filters and search \u2018odoo_magento_multi_language<\/strong>\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5:- You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on \u2018Install\u2019<\/strong> to install it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WORKFLOW<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

After the installation part is done. The workflow of the module starts with the mapping of languages at Odoo and Magento end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1:-<\/strong> At Magento End<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

In order to map the languages at Magento end. Open \u2018Odoo connector<\/strong>\u2019 tab, you will find \u2018language mapping<\/strong>\u2019 under the \u2018General tab<\/strong>\u2019. Click on Language Mapping and as a result, the Language Mapping page will be opened. In order to map all existing Odoo Languages with your Magento stores, click on the \u2018Manual Mapping\u2019 button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2:-<\/strong> At Odoo End<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

In order to view the Language Mapping at Odoo end. Navigate to the ‘Magento Odoo Bridge<\/strong>‘ ad then go to \u2018language mapping\u2019 <\/strong>under the \u2018mapping<\/strong>\u2019 tab to find the mapping of the languages at Odoo end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3:-<\/strong> Export translations<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

MOB Multi-Language Extension For Magento 2<\/strong> provides the feature to export the translations of products. To use this feature, go to Odoo connector >> Odoo configuration and select \u2018yes\u2019 in the product translation <\/strong>tab. You will find this tab under ‘Automatic synchronization Settings<\/strong>‘. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

4:-<\/strong> Export Product translation from Odoo end<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

a) Individual product translation<\/strong> export<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To export products along with their translations, Go to the product catalog and then click on the \u2018Action\u2019 button and then select \u2018Synchronise to Magento\u2019 option. Enable the \u2018Translation Synchronisation\u2019 to synchronize product translation from Odoo to Magento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

b) Bulk Product translation export<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to export the translation of the all products available in Odoo at the same time. Open \u2018Magento Odoo Bridge<\/strong>\u2019 and then select \u2018Bulk Synchronisation<\/strong>\u2019. Click on \u2018Synchronise Products\u2019, enable the \u2018Translation Synchronization\u2019 checkbox, and then select the \u2018Synchronise Now’ button to export the translation of all the products to Magento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
