Odoo Website Product Image Search<\/a> module completely changes the way how products are being searched. The module uses an image to search for different products. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Odoo Website Product Image Search module is easily accessible to customers and uses an image to search for different products on the website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Features<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Uses an image for product search.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Provides suggestions for different products after image upload.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. It provides the configuration to create a new mapping.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Images can be searched on the color basis.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Also, Images can searched based on design and patterns.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. It provides the option to enable or disable the created mapping.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Provides the feature to preview an image after the upload.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Installation<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    1. After purchasing the module, a link will be provided to download a zip file.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Extract the file and a folder name \u2018website_product_image_search\u2019<\/strong> will be visible.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Copy the folder to the Odoo add-ons path.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Open the Odoo app, and click on settings. Then, Click on Developer Mode.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Now, open the Apps Menu and click on \u2018Update Module List\u2019.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    6. At the search bar, remove all filters and search \u2018website_product_image_search\u2019<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    7. And Click on Install for Installation. Kudos!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Work Flow<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      Configurations<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      1. After the successful installation, the admin needs to configure the module accordingly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. To configure the module admin needs to navigate to \u2018Configuration<\/strong>\u2019 by following the path \u2018Configuration>>Image Search Configuration\u2019.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n

        1. In \u2018Image Search Configuration<\/strong>\u2019, Click on the \u2018New\u2019<\/strong> button to create a new product image mapping. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n

            \n
          1. For configuring for all products set the field as \u2018Select Product > >All Products\u2019 <\/strong>and then save the configuration.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n

            1. And, to configure the module for selected products set the field as \u2018Select Product >> selected products\u2019<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n

              1. After we have added all the details in the fields according to the requirements. The admin can click on the \u2018store embeddings\u2019<\/strong> button on the left to save the configuration for this mapping. The status on the right side changes to \u2018stored\u2019<\/strong>; The mapping will get published automatically.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n

                1. The admin can even select the \u2018Preview after Upload\u2019 <\/strong>feature to preview the image after a successful upload for search.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n

                  Website View<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

                  1. Navigate to the website\u2019s \u2018Shop\u2019 <\/strong>section from the navbar of the odoo website.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n

                    1. Click on the image search icon beside the search bar to upload an image. Now click on the \u2018Upload an image\u2019 <\/strong>button to upload.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n

                      1. After the image upload, Product suggestions of selected products (If configured from the backend) visible on the shop page directly.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n

                        1. If the \u2018Preview Image\u2019 <\/strong>feature is enabled, Then the customer gets a preview of the image of the product uploaded. Clicking on the \u2018Search\u2019 <\/strong>button the customer will be redirected to the shop page where all the product suggestions will be visible.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n
