Opencart recently released a new version i.e Opencart Version 2.2.0.0 and has brought some changes in this latest version. Today we will take a look on some changes which are very important in this latest version.<\/p>\n

There is big change in Catalog end i.e “.tpl” file loading in the controller. As in the previous versions we were adding a condition to check the template which is used but in 2.2.0.0 there is no need to check the config template to load the tpl\u00a0file.<\/p>\n

There are lots of changes in library files also but today we will look into the currency format function in library currency file.<\/p>\n

In 2.1.0.2 we do not need to send currency code as a function parameter of format function but in 2.2.0.0 we have to pass currency code as a parameter of format function.<\/p>\n
