Customers find it convenient to order products online in the morning and pick them up in the evening from the nearest store. Also, they want to collect the products conveniently from the store lowering the time and cost of delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Odoo Website Store Pickup gives this ease to the customers. They can pick up the products from their pickup point (store). Further, the store pickup module permits sharing store locations on the Odoo website and accepting\/denying out-of-stock product orders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It also displays a custom message on the checkout page for unavailable products in a particular store. Moreover, the module shares store location through Google Maps and allow you to manage stock effortlessly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First, you must install these modules for the Odoo Website Store Pickup to work correctly.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

  1. Odoo Website Store Pickup permits customers to take deliveries directly from the store.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

    INSTALLATION<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    1. Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- \u2018website_store_pickup.\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Then, open the Apps menu and click on \u2018Update Modules List.\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search \u2018website_store_pickup.\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    7. You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on \u2018Install<\/strong>\u2019 to install it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      WORKFLOW<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      Let\u2019s begin the configuration of the Odoo Website Store Pickup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      CONFIGURATION<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      1. Once installed, go to \u2018Website> Configuration> Settings.\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      2. On the settings page, click the \u2018Webkul Website Addons\u2019 <\/strong>option, then locate \u2018Website: Store Pickup,\u2019<\/strong> and click the \u2018Configuration\u2019<\/strong> option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      3. Now, define \u2018Default Pickup Lead Time.\u2019<\/strong> Select the default pickup lead time, which can be \u2018Store Lead Time or Product Lead Time.\u2019<\/strong> Then select an option to \u2018Allow Orders,\u2019<\/strong> which has two options: \u2018All or Condition.\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      4. Through the \u2018Allow Orders> Condition\u2019<\/strong> option, you can set conditions like denying an order when the product\u2019s (on-hand or forecasted) quantity is less than (quantity) in the warehouse of the store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      CREATING AN STORE WITH A LOCATION<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      5. After that, go to \u2018Sales> Configuration> Stores\u2019<\/strong> to open the list of all stores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      6. On the store list page, you can view all existing stores and click the \u2018Create\u2019<\/strong> button to start creating a store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      7. Next, enter the details, such as pickup lead time, Lead Time Unit (which could be in hours, days, weeks, months, or years), Store Longitude and latitude location, etc. Once done, click the \u2018Save\u2019<\/strong> and \u2018Publish\u2019<\/strong> icons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      CREATING DELIVERY METHOD<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      8. Create different store pickup locations by going to the \u2018Sales> Configuration> Sales order> Shipping Methods> Create\u2019<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      9. Enter all the required details to create a store pickup delivery method. Click the \u2018Save\u2019<\/strong> icon to save the shipping method, and click the unpublish option to \u2018Publish\u2019<\/strong> the module.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      NOTE:<\/strong> Be sure to enable the \u2018Use As Store Pickup\u2019<\/strong> option to make a shipping method the store pickup location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      10. On the Odoo website, place orders for products and add them to the cart. On the checkout page, choose the \u2018Store Pickup\u2019<\/strong> option, and select the nearest store according to your convenience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      11. Scroll to the bottom of the page and enter the desired delivery date and delivery note or message. Once done, click the \u2018Pay Now\u2019<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      12. After the order is paid, you can see the quotation with \u2018Desired Delivery Date, Pickup Lead Time, and Pickup Location <\/strong>in the Odoo backend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      13. Lastly, a customer can pick up the product from the desired store according to the defined delivery date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
