Deliver POS orders to customers\u2019 doorstep with Odoo POS Home Delivery!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Customers want convenience and don\u2019t want to step outside for unnecessary shopping. They like products delivered to their doorstep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keeping this in mind, we created Odoo POS Home Delivery. The module allows you to manage POS delivery orders. The POS user can take a delivery order from the running POS session and send them to the Odoo backend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moreover, the customer can provide a different delivery address than the one available in Odoo. You can additionally charge a delivery fee and can add a delivery date. Further, on creating an order, it is saved in the Odoo backend as a sales quotation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FEATURES<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
  1. Odoo POS Home Delivery enables the POS user to handle orders for home delivery in the running POS.<\/li>
  2. POS users can create a sales quotation for delivery orders.<\/li>
  3. Customers can provide a different delivery address other than the one present in the Odoo backend.<\/li>
  4. POS users can further add delivery charges to the created delivery order.<\/li>
  5. Users can also assign a delivery date in the running POS itself.<\/li>
  6. Once the order is confirmed, a sales quotation is created in the backend.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    INSTALLATION<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    1. Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.<\/li>
    2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- \u2018pos_to_sales_order.\u2019<\/strong><\/li>
    3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.<\/li>
    4. Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.<\/li>
    5. Then, open the Apps menu and click on \u2018Update Modules List.\u2019<\/strong><\/li>
    6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search \u2018pos_to_sales_order.\u2019<\/strong><\/li>
    7. You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on \u2018Install<\/strong>\u2019 to install it.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      WORKFLOW<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      Now move to the configuration of Odoo POS Home Delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      CONFIGURATION<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      1. Firstly, log in to the Odoo backend and open Point of Sale. Now click on the POS menu and open the POS session \u2018Settings.\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      2. Move to the \u2018Extra Price\u2019<\/strong> and select the delivery charge. It will enable you to add delivery charges as an extra charge in the current POS session for order delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      POS SESSION<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      3. In the POS session, select a customer and click \u2018Create Sales Order.\u2019<\/strong> If the cart is empty, you will see the \u2018Empty Cart\u2019<\/strong> pop-up message.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      4. After adding products to the cart, click on the \u2018Create Sales Order.\u2019<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      5. Enter the desired delivery date, and in the \u2018Shipping Address\u2019<\/strong> tab, click on the tickbox next to \u2018Ship to Different Address\u2019<\/strong> and enter the delivery address. However, you don\u2019t need to add another delivery address if customers want products at their default address.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      6. Move to the \u2018Extra Fees\u2019<\/strong> tab and enable it by ticking the box and entering the amount you want to charge for delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      7. In the \u2018Note\u2019<\/strong> tab, add specific delivery or order instruction and click the \u2018Create\u2019<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      8. After creating, you will get the confirmation pop-up with the \u2018Sales Order Reference Number.\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      VIEWING ORDER DETAILS IN THE SALES<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      9. Open the sales app, locate \u2018Orders> Quotations\u2019<\/strong> and find and open the sales order number. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      10. On the Quotation page, you can view the \u2018Delivery Charge\u2019<\/strong> added along with products in the \u2018Order Lines\u2019<\/strong> tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      11. Next, move to the \u2018POS Note\u2019<\/strong> tab to view the added order note.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
