PrestaShop Delete Customer Account module lets customers remove their account from the PrestaShop store. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Customers can delete their account from the My Account section under the Delete Account tab. Thus, this module makes it easy for the customers to delete their account and save admin’s time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Note:<\/strong> PrestaShop Delete Customer Account is compatible with PrestaShop multi-store feature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Allow customers to delete their account or request for account deletion from the My Account section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Allow customers to deactivate their account.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
A dedicated tab to view a list of all the requests submitted by customers to delete account.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Delete customer’s account from the back office.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Send custom mail to customers who have submitted account delete request.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Delete customer’s request for account delete.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Select CMS page that will show on the store when customers click on delete account tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
A confirmation popup is shown to the customer before account deletion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

How to Install PrestaShop Delete Customer Account<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Firstly, go to the module manager in the back office and click on \u2018upload a module\u2019.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
After that, drag and drop the module file or select the file from the system.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
In this way, the module installation will be successful.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
After the successful installation of the module, the admin needs to configure it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
Under General Settings, the admin can:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Choose the account to delete the account.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Select the CMS page that will display to the customers when delete or request to delete their account.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Allow customers to deactivate their account.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
Action to delete account<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
The admin can allow customers to request to delete or directly delete their account from the front end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Front End Workflow<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
After the successful installation of the module, a new tab “Delete Account” gets available on the customer’s account page. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
On clicking Delete Account, the CMS page selected by the admin under general settings will display. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
If the admin has selected Direct delete, then a delete account button will display. Customers can delete their account by clicking on this button. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Also, a deactivate account button will display on the delete account page as configured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
On clicking the button, a popup appears on the page asking for the password. After entering the password, click on the delete button to remove the account from the store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
Once deleted, a message will display on the store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
If the admin has selected request to delete in action to delete account field, then “REQUEST TO DELETE” will display on the delete account page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
On clicking the button, a popup appears on the page, where the customer needs to the reason for account deletion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
Once the customer has successfully submitted the request, an email for account deletion will be send to the admin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After the successful installation of the module, a new tab ‘Delete Account Request’ gets available under Customers in the back office. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
From here the admin can view a list of all the requests submitted by customers for deleting their account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
Under the tab, the admin can:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delete customer’s account.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Send custom mail to customer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Delete the customer’s request for account delete.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
On clicking the ‘Write & send’ button, a popup appears on the page where <\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Deactivate Account<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
Also, the customer can deactivate his account by clicking on the deactivate account button. On clicking the button, a popup appears on the page asking from the customer’s confirmation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
Once deactivated, the message will display on the store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
