Odoo POS Pharmacy Management<\/em><\/strong><\/a> is a one-stop solution for pharmacy!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pharmacy management involves handling sales, invoices, inventory, etc. It also provides information about medicines, aiding in finding alternatives & information about one’s medication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Odoo POS Pharmacy Management module facilitates streamlined inventory management, adding a new menu, and creating detailed information about doctors, manufacturers and usage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The backend allows for easy configuration of features such as advanced filter, cart deletion, default view, and toggle menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  2. It allows you to add details like usage, side effects, salt composition, salt unit, and more.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. You can also manage multiple units of measure (UOM).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Use advanced search to filter out products easily in Odoo POS Pharmacy Management<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Configure every setting, like an advanced filter, clear order lines, pos color, etc. from the backend.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. The Odoo app additionally delivers an intensified user interface for easy navigation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Odoo POS Pharmacy Managemen adds a medicine information button over the product image in Odoo POS.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. The information button opens a popup that shows every product\u2019s details.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

    1. Once you purchase the App from the Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Extract the file on your system after the download before moving further, explore our Odoo development services & an extensive range of quality Odoo Apps.d finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- \u2018pos_pharmacy_management<\/strong>\u2019<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Then, open the Apps menu and click on \u2018Update Modules List.\u2019<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search \u2018pos_pharmacy_management<\/strong>\u2019<\/li>\n\n\n\n

      WORKFLOW<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      Moving on to the configuration of the Odoo POS Pharmacy Management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      CONFIGURATION<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      1. Go to the POS module and open \u2018Configuration> Settings.\u2019<\/strong> Now, locate the \u2018Pharmacy\u2019<\/strong> settings and enable the following.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Enable \u2018Add a Menu Bar\u2019<\/strong> to add a pharmacy option to the menu on the front end. Enable \u2018Advance Search\u2019<\/strong> to conveniently search for products in Odoo POS. The \u2018Show Details in Products\u2019<\/strong> let you decide which options to show in the product info button. In addition, the \u2018Show Medicine Information\u2019<\/strong> adds an information popup on the product image to show details. The \u2018Quickpay Button\u2019<\/strong> will add the Quickpay payment option on the POS Screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      2. The \u2018Delete Order Button\u2019<\/strong> will let you delete the whole order at once. \u2018Show Product Image\u2019<\/strong> will show the product image in the cart. \u2018Configurable Color\u2019<\/strong> let you set the POS color from the palette. Moreover, the \u2018Clear Orderlines\u2019<\/strong> option will allow you to delete a particular product\u2019s order lines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      3. After that, create all the sub-menus listed under the \u2018Pharmacy\u2019<\/strong> menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      3.1. Create a doctor, and don\u2019t forget to enable the \u2018Is a Doctor\u2019<\/strong> option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      3.2. Next, create Medicine Products similar to a product. However, you need to enable the \u2018Is a Pharma Product\u2019<\/strong> option, and under the \u2018Pharmacy\u2019<\/strong> tab, enter the various details after enabling \u2018Is a Medicine.\u2019<\/strong> Also, enable the \u2018Manage Multi UOM Price\u2019<\/strong> if you deal in different quantities and unit prices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      3.3. You can mark medicine as a prescription medicine in the settings under the configuration tab.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      3.4 You can easily enable the expiration dates of the medicine in the Inventory section of settings under the configuration tab. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      3.5. Now, create Medicine manufacturers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      3.16. Enter medicine action class in Odoo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      4. After that, open the Odoo POS, and toggle the side menu\/ pharmacy menu configured from the backend. Moreover, the \u2018Quickpay\u2019<\/strong> button lets you make payments quickly according to the set method (Cash, Bank, or Customer Account).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      5. Also, you can check the \u2018Delete Cart (Trash bin) and Cancel (Clear order lines)\u2019<\/strong> buttons. The customer button will let you add customers; similarly, the Doctor button adds a doctor to the POS invoice. Once done, click the \u2018Medicine Information\u2019<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      6. You can view all the allowed menus in the information popup. In addition, you can check \u2018Alternate Medicines and Alternate Medicines Based on Salt.\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      7. Click the alternate salt or medicine option to view the replacements, select any of them, and hit the \u2018Add Products\u2019<\/strong> button to add them to the cart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      8. You can further switch between grid and list view from the provided option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      11. If you select a prescription required medicine and proceed further then POS restricts it to proceed further without a prescription. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
