INTRODUCTION<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Odoo POS Kitchen Network Printer for quick kitchen receipts!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a confectionary or any mini food store, customers require tokens to get the desired products. Also, the tokens or receipts must be delivered to the salesperson, which collects the same order number from the Kitchen. But usually, there is no token system in the kitchen which cause order mixup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore to send orders directly to the kitchen and avoid order mixups, you need a module that sorts this problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Odoo POS Kitchen Network Printer solves this problem. It authorizes the POS user to install a network printer in the Kitchen and automatically print the POS receipt before order validation. Moreover, the module doesn\u2019t require a POSBox for printing the receipts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moreover, the module uses ECS\/POS network printer with a QZ tray Client to print orders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. The Odoo app configures ECS\/POS network printer with Odoo POS Kitchen<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. It automatically sends the print command to the set kitchen network printer through the QZ Tray client.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

    INSTALLATION<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    1. Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- \u2018pos_kitchen_network_printer.\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Then, open the Apps menu and click on \u2018Update Modules List.\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search \u2018pos_kitchen_network_printer.\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    7. You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on \u2018Install<\/strong>\u2019 to install it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      WORKFLOW<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      Let\u2019s begin the configuration of the Odoo POS Kitchen Network Printer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      CONFIGURATION<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      1. Go to \u2018Point of Sale> Configuration> Network Printers> Create.\u2019<\/strong> once you install the module.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      2. Enter the printer name and the \u2018POS Product Category\u2019<\/strong> list in the Payment Product Categories <\/strong>on the new page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      3. Next, move to the POS Settings from the POS home page by clicking the three-dot menu, or you can access them from \u2018Configuration> Settings.\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      4. On the setting page, locate and tick the \u2018Network Printer\u2019<\/strong> option and enter the Printer name. After that, tick the box next to \u2018Kitchen Network Printers (and select the network printer) and Order Printer (Select the printer).\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      5. Once configured, go to the POS session and add the product to the cart. After adding the product to the cart, it will highlight the \u2018Order\u2019<\/strong> button upon adding a product from the configured \u2018POS product category.\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
