Direct debit from the bank with Odoo Website Braintree ACH Payment Acquirer!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every customer doesn\u2019t want to use a debit\/credit card. Some customers prefer to pay their bills from their bank account. However, how can one integrate a direct debit system into Odoo?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Odoo Website Braintree ACH Payment Acquirer permits customers to make payments using a bank account. The module accepts either via network check or through Micro-transfer (can take up to 3 business days).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Configure the cron to update the status of the Micro transfer payment automatically. Or you can do it manually in the backend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also check: Odoo Direct Refund from Braintree<\/a> allows you to refund via Braintree. Click the refund button in the invoice, choose a full or partial refund, and confirm the reverse invoice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    INSTALLATION<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    1. Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- \u2018payment_braintree_ach.\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Then, open the Apps menu and click on \u2018Update Modules List.\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search \u2018payment_braintree_ach.\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    7. You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on \u2018Install<\/strong>\u2019 to install it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      WORKFLOW<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      Let\u2019s move on to the configuration of Odoo Website Braintree ACH Payment Acquirer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      CONFIGURATION<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      1. Go to \u2018Invoicing> Configuration> Payment Acquirers\u2019<\/strong> after installing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      2. On the payment acquirer page, scroll and locate the \u2018Braintree ACH\u2019<\/strong> and open it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      3. Now, enter the \u2018Merchant ID, Public and Private Keys, Authorization Process, and Default Merchant Account ID.\u2019 Lastly, enter the max number of days to update pending transactions in the \u2018Credentials\u2019<\/strong> tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      NOTE:<\/em><\/strong> You need to generate the Braintree ACH details from the <\/em>Braintree Sandbox<\/em><\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

      4. Move to the \u2018Configuration\u2019<\/strong> tab and select the payment journal to record the transactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      5. In the \u2018Messages\u2019<\/strong> tab, enter the messages for the given scenarios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      6. On the Odoo website, shop for a product, and on the checkout page, select the \u2018Braintree ACH\u2019<\/strong> payment option, and click the \u2018Pay Now\u2019<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      7. After that, a form will appear on the screen. Enter all the details and tick the checkbox to verify the bank account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      8. After finalizing the payment, you will see the order confirmation message on the screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      9. You can view all the Braintree ACH Direct Debit transactions from the Odoo backend in the \u2018Payment Transactions\u2019<\/strong> menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      CONFIGURING CRON IN THE BACKEND<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      11. In the backend, go to \u2018Settings> Technical> Automation> Scheduled Action.\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
