Many customers nowadays prefer buying through pay later schemes where they can purchase the product now and pay for them in the future. It also motivates them to buy products of superior\/luxurious quality, which increases conversion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To make it possible in Odoo, we created Odoo Payment Acquirer PayLater. This Odoo app authorizes you to buy now and pay later on a future date. Moreover, the module is easy to configure. And you can use it in your Odoo without any complexity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Further, the module adds pay later credit to the customer account. Once they make a payment with pay later credit, the amount decreases but replenishes upon clearing the bill<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    INSTALLATION<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    1. Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- \u2018payment_paylater.\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Then, open the Apps menu and click on \u2018Update Modules List.\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search \u2018payment_paylater.\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    7. You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on \u2018Install<\/strong>\u2019 to install it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      CONFIGURATION (ODOO BACKEND)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      1. After installing the module, move to \u2018Website> Configuration> eCommerce> Payment Acquirers.\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      2. On the payment pay later page, you don\u2019t need to add an API key. Move to the \u2018Configuration\u2019<\/strong> page and set the \u2018Payment Journal.\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      5. Select any customer from the available list\/grid in Odoo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      6. In the customer profile, open the \u2018Pay Later\u2019<\/strong> tab to check the credit limit and other details like the used credit limit and Penalty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Enabling the \u2018Pay later Freezed\u2019<\/strong> option will freeze the credit, and the customer can\u2019t purchase with the pay later credits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      7. After that, go to \u2018Website> Configuration> eCommece> Payment Transaction\u2019<\/strong> to check every transaction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
