Odoo Product Barcode Generator permits creating and managing barcodes for products in Odoo. Moreover, the module allows you to generate barcodes for individual or bulk products. Also, it authorizes you to create text and image barcodes or both for the product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Further, you can set the default barcode from the settings menu and choose the default barcode type for products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    INSTALLATION<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    1. Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- \u2018wk_product_barcode_generator.\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Then, open the Apps menu and click on \u2018Update Modules List.\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search \u2018wk_product_barcode_generator.\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    7. You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on \u2018Install<\/strong>\u2019 to install it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Let\u2019s begin the configuration of the Odoo Product Barcode Generator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      CONFIGURATION<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      1. After installation, in the Odoo backend, go to \u2018Settings> General Settings,\u2019<\/strong> locate \u2018Default Barcode Feature,\u2019<\/strong> and choose the options according to your need. Once done, click the \u2018Save\u2019<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      2. Now, go to \u2018Sales> Products> Product Variants\u2019<\/strong> and select the products whose barcodes you want to create or update.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      3. Click the \u2018Action\u2019<\/strong> button and choose the \u2018Create Barcode\u2019<\/strong> option from the menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      4. In the popup, choose the Barcode type (it will show the default selection saved in settings). Tick the box next to \u2018Create Barcode Image or Create Barcode Text\u2019<\/strong> or both, as per your need. Once done, click the \u2018Create Barcode\u2019<\/strong> button. Also, you can update the barcode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      5. If you have already configured the default settings, the system will automatically generate the barcode for the new product once you hit the \u2018Save\u2019<\/strong> icon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      6. After saving, you can see the new product with generated barcodes according to the specified settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
