both the delivery agent and customer, as there is proof that the delivery agent sent the package and that the customer got it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"proof-of-delivery\">What Is Proof of Delivery?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Proof of Delivery&nbsp;(POD) acknowledges that an order was delivered successfully to its planned destination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are two types of proof of delivery:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Electronic Signature<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>OTP<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>With an electronic signature POD, customers can provide an electronic signature when a product or service is deliver to them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And, with OTP, an OTP is sent on the customer&#8217;s mobile number which needs to be shared with the delivery agent when goods are being delivered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wk-index-wrap\"><div class=\"block-wrap\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading index-title\">Features of PrestaShop Proof of Delivery<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Proof of delivery comes in two forms: OTP and electronic signature.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provision to set the status of the order Let us understand this with the help of an example. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Suppose the current status of the order is Payment Accepted and the admin has enabled this setting and has chosen order status to &#8220;Delivered&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, when the delivery of this order is confirmed by the customer through electronic signature or OTP, the status of that order will automatically change to the selected status i.e. &#8220;Delivered&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/storecdn.webkul.com\/showcase\/590\/1727692746.png\" alt=\"General Settings\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">OTP Settings<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/store.webkul.com\/media\/showcase\/590\/1727692745.png\" alt=\"OTP Settings\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In the module, we have given two forms for Proof of delivery: OTP and electronic signature.<br>For sending OTP, we have used Twilio service provider. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Therefore, you will have to enter the Twilio details like Twilio account SId, Twilio account token and Twilio number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Select address for mobile number<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The customer mobile number is mandatory for sending the OTP.
