INTRODUCTION<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Simplify SMS notifications with Odoo Boomcast SMS Gateway!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marketing is essential for business promotion, so choosing a suitable advertising method is critical for business growth. SMS is one of the fastest and most affordable ways to promote business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SMS enables you to send offers, discounts, promotional messages, and invoice updates on users’ mobile numbers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Odoo Boomcast SMS Gateway allows you to send messages to customers using Boomcast. Moreover, in the backend, you can set various templates for global and condition-based use. Also, you can view the status of every sent message.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Further, Boomcast permits you to send SMS to individuals or groups, so you never miss an opportunity to reach out to customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NOTE: <\/strong>Odoo Boomcast SMS Gateway Module works in conjunction with the following module:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Odoo SMS Notification<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

First, you must install this module in your system for Odoo Boomcast SMS Gateway module to work correctly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FEATURES<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
  1. The module allows integration with Boomcast.<\/li>
  2. Boomcast operation area depends on the chosen service.<\/li>
  3. Create SMS groups for sending bulk messages.<\/li>
  4. Select and send messages to SMS groups.<\/li>
  5. Using the SMS form, send messages to customers or vendors.<\/li>
  6. Also, you can send messages to groups or multiple customers.<\/li>
  7. Admin can assign access to SMS features at the user level.<\/li>
  8. Moreover, users with the SMS feature enabled can send messages to people in Odoo.<\/li>
  9. Create a template or use an existing one for sending SMS.<\/li>
  10. Choose to use the template Globally or based on Condition.<\/li>
  11. Global templates are available for use so you can send messages to all users and groups.<\/li>
  12. Condition-based templates are only available when a particular condition is met.<\/li>
  13. Choose a condition from the backend and set a template for SMS.<\/li>
  14. Define conditions for sending SMS automatically for efficiency.<\/li>
  15. Condition-based SMS is automatically sent to customers when the condition is met.<\/li>
  16. In the backend, Odoo maintains the history of all the sent SMS.<\/li>
  17. Users can view the details of any record by clicking it.<\/li>
  18. Moreover, you can enable auto-delete features for the messages.<\/li>
  19. After you enable the auto-delete feature, the system will auto-delete the sent SMS list and delivery status reports.<\/li>
  20. Admin can view the status of all the sent SMS.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    INSTALLATION<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    1. Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.<\/li>
    2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- \u2018boomcast_gateway.\u2019<\/strong><\/li>
    3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.<\/li>
    4. Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.<\/li>
    5. Then, open the Apps menu and click on \u2018Update Modules List.\u2019<\/strong><\/li>
    6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search \u2018boomcast_gateway.\u2019<\/strong><\/li>
    7. You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on \u2018Install<\/strong>\u2019 to install it.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      WORKFLOW<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      CONFIGURATION<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      1. Firstly, log in to the Odoo backend and go to \u2018Settings,\u2019<\/strong> scroll to the bottom of the page and \u2018Activate the Developers Mode.\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      2. Next, open the \u2018SMS\u2019<\/strong> settings and enable \u2018Are you managing country calling code with customer\u2019s mobile number?\u2019<\/strong> (enable it only if you are handling the country calling code with the customer\u2019s mobile number).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      2.1. Click the checkbox next to \u2018Install Boomcast SMS Gateway\u2019<\/strong> for installing Boomcast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      2.2. Additionally, click on the \u2018Configure SMS Gateway Account\u2019<\/strong> to open the new page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      3. On the new page, Fill in the details and click the \u2018Save\u2019<\/strong> button. Also, choose Boomcast in the \u2018SMS Gateway\u2019<\/strong> section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      4. After that, follow the trail \u2018User & Companies> Users\u2019<\/strong> and open any users. Locate \u2018Enable SMS Feature\u2019<\/strong> and tick the box next to it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      CREATING TEMPLATES AND SENDING SMS<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      5. Once configured, go to the SMS menu, and on the SMS Gateway Dashboard, you can view the details of every message.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      6. Now, go to the \u2018Templates> Create,\u2019<\/strong> enter the details and click the \u2018Save\u2019<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      6.1. Global-<\/strong> Ticking the box will apply the template globally for all SMS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      6.2. Auto Delete-<\/strong> Enabling this will delete all messages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      7. SImilarly, while creating a template, if the box next to global is unticked, then the system will use a condition-based template. Moreover, in the \u2018Conditions\u2019<\/strong> block, choose the condition for sending SMS, choose Language, and in the \u2018Content\u2019<\/strong> tab, enter the design code for the template.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      8. Next, click on the \u2018Send SMS\u2019<\/strong> menu and fill in all the details. In the \u2018SMS\u2019<\/strong> tab, choose the template and click the \u2018Send Now\u2019 <\/strong>button to send the message immediately, or click \u2018Save as Draft\u2019<\/strong> to send the message later on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      9. In the same way, you can create an SMS form for Multiple members too. Fill in the form details and click \u2018Send Now or Save As Draft.\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      10. After that, go to \u2018SMS Group> Create\u2019<\/strong> and fill in the group name, add members by clicking \u2018Add a Line\u2019<\/strong> and choose \u2018Member Type.\u2019<\/strong> Once done, click the \u2018Save\u2019<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      11. Now, open the \u2018Draft SMS\u2019<\/strong> menu to view all the drafts. Also, you can send the draft to customers by clicking the \u2018Send Now\u2019<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      12. The \u2018History\u2019<\/strong> menu has two sections:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      12.1. Sent SMS-<\/strong> This option shows the record of all the sent SMS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      12.2. Delivery Report-<\/strong> With this option, you can view all the delivery reports and their status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
