Simplify GST invoice JSON creation with Odoo GST e-Invoicing System!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Filling GST Form is a hectic job as you have to fill every detail and column, which takes a lot of time. But there is an alternative that eases the process and reduces the time consumption. While filling GST, you can upload a JSON file of details that saves time and smoothens the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But the question is, how to get and generate a JSON file as it\u2019s not a human-readable document?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To assist you in this operation, we have created Odoo GST e-Invoicing System that will generate a JSON file for your invoices and any other data saved by you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NOTE: <\/strong>Odoo GST e-Invoicing System Module works in conjunction with the following module:<\/p>

Odoo GST – Returns and Invoices<\/strong><\/a><\/p>

You would require to install this module first for Odoo GST e-Invoicing System to work correctly.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

FEATURES<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
  1. Enables you to generate JSON format for B2B, export, and credit note<\/li>
  2. Generate summary month-wise or quarter-wise in Odoo.<\/li>

    INSTALLATION<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
    1. Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.<\/li>
    2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- \u2018gst_einvoice_system.\u2019<\/strong><\/li>
    3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.<\/li>
    4. Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.<\/li>
    5. Then, open the Apps menu and click on \u2018Update Modules List.\u2019<\/strong><\/li>
    6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search \u2018gst_einvoice_system.\u2019<\/strong><\/li>
    7. You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on \u2018Install<\/strong>\u2019 to install it.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      WORKFLOW CONFIGURATION<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      1. Firstly, log in to your Odoo backend and go to \u2018GST> GST Tool> GST e-Invoice\u2019<\/strong> and click on the \u2018Create\u2019<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      2. On the page, fill in the details and click on the \u2018Add a Line.\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      3. In the popup, select the invoices and click \u2018Select\u2019.<\/strong> After that, click on the \u2018Save\u2019<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      4. Now, in the \u2018Invoice Type,\u2019<\/strong> you can see the invoice type, and if you click on the \u2018Invoices,\u2019<\/strong> you can see all the invoices added. Once done, click on \u2018Generate e-Invoice JSON\u2019<\/strong> to generate JSON.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      4.1. Moreover, when you click \u2018Generate e-Invoice JSON,\u2019<\/strong> the page refreshes and shows the \u2018B2B JSON, Export JSON, Credit Note JSON\u2019<\/strong> options. Click on any of them as per \u2018Invoice Type\u2019<\/strong> to download them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      5. Moreover, while generating JSON of the invoices, if an error occurs, then it will be displayed in a popup with details of the error.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      6. On the \u2018GST e-Invoice Tool\u2019<\/strong> page, you can see all the generated JSON and their status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      7. Now, click on any invoice, and in the popup, click \u2018Download JSON.\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      8. After that, a popup will appear on the screen asking you to choose a file and tick the box next to \u2018Sent Mail\u2019<\/strong> to pick whether to send mail or not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      9. Next, in the \u2018Customer Invoices\u2019<\/strong> click on the \u2018Upload IRN.\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      10. In the pop-up, you will have two options:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      10.1. Upload IRN via CSV: <\/strong> On choosing this option, you have to upload an IRN file and choose to send mail by ticking the box next to it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      10.2. Manually add GST e-Invoice Response:<\/strong> In this option, enter the details manually like \u2018Acknowledgement Number, Acknowledgment Date, Invoice Reference Number, Signed QR Code, and Signed Invoice\u2019.<\/strong> After filling every column, it will show the QR next to it. Now, click the \u2018Import\u2019<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      11. After that, go to the \u2018GST e-Invoice\u2019<\/strong> tab of \u2018Customer Invoices\u2019 <\/strong>to view the entered GST Invoice Details. Further, the downloaded invoice will also contain the QR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
